If he is let go in the next couple of years we'll all be able to point to this moment in time. Having lost two coaches (without any replacement named) during the most crucial month of recruiting is beyond stupid if you ask me! Our class as of today is ranked behind Maryland,Kentucky and USCe (whick is beyond un-fu*king- acceptable) for the University of Florida. If Mac knew these coaches were leaving (or being pushed out) he should of had replacements lined up and on the trail already because Other teams are adding/subtracting coaches daily while Mac sits on his a$$ and just tells the recruits that we"ll have new coaches soon. Well... soon isn't good enough especially since we're entering the final weeks before signing day! If the spots aren't filled soon signing day will be the latest example of how lazy,arrogant,and incompetent this dude really is!

It is rather depressing seeing Kentucky, Muschump above us in the recruiting rankings and knowing we are losing so much on defense.

He's simply not cut out for a HC gig like the one at UF.......He's just more of a "wait n see" type of guy instead of a "git r done" type of guy.....Shoot first and take names later is how coaches at historically relevant programs like UF, UT Bama, ND and such must operate......

A-fuggin-greed!!! You are ALMOST 100% spot on with this post. This is complete and utter BS and there is no excuse for this crap. As everybody knows, Mac wasn't my 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice when hired but I was caustiously optimistic that he would pan out. Now I'm damn near ready to throw in the towel on him for all the flaws you have pointed out. There is no reason why he shouldn't be killing it on the recruiting trail...but he's not. There is no reason why we shouldn't have a top notch staff...but we don't. There is no reason why we are 2 and whatever against ranked opponents under Mac...but we are. It's beyond puzzling at this point but it all points back to Mac. I heard an interesting comment during the Bama/Washington game. The broadcaster said a team takes on the persona of its' HC and then they cited examples of Bama players being hard core Saban types that want to do whatever it takes to win. Mac, on the other hand, is Mr. Pac Northwest Cool, with his laid back attitude and his fugging PBJ euphemisms and it seems that has rubbed off on players and staff alike. EFF THIS SIHT!!!

The only thing you are wrong about is when you said Mac should have lined up new hires before our 2 assistants left. I disagree. What should have been done is Mac should have quietly IDENTIFIED, HIRED AND INKED TO IRON CLAD CONTRACTS 2 kick ass replacements while the 2 dead weight assistants were still employed on our staff AND THEN FIRED THEIR SORRY ASSES RIGHT AFTER HE HELD THE PRESS CONFERENCE ANNOUNCING THE 2 NEW HIRES!!! That way, we wouldn't have missed a single moment on the recruiting trail and we wouldn't be scrambling like we are now. All this BS about Mac not wanting to hurt his buddies' feelings by firing them and looking out for his friends' paychecks rather than looking out for the UF football program needed to stop years ago!!!

I called and told them I was not renewing my season tickets (that i've had for 15 yrs) or making my yearly donation until they decided they wanted to compete for Championships again. If they want to halfa$$ everything...go ahead... i won't drive 4 hrs (one way) and spend a $1000 a weekend to watch the $hit show we currently field every damn year anymore. I can watch us get our a$$es dragged at home (for free) and will do so until we get a legitimate staff!

At this level, you gotta be a freakin shark. Thats why he's gone within a year,2 tops. He'll be ok at mid major where they can rely on taking what they can get as far as talent and coaches go.
