I don't care if it smells like desperation... if our coaching staff is desperate at this point then they have realized their class isn't as good as it needs to be and they are doing everything to fix it at the last moment... should it be better... Of course!

But you look ridiculous when complain about the class being bad the coaches not recruiting... then complain when they do something to try to fix what you are complaining about!

how come bama and tenn seemingly keep signing huge classes every cycle?

Probably:

1. They only announce 25 per SEC rules on signing day, not announcing the early enrollees.

2. They do not have the UF claimed 4 year scholarship.

3. They have very high levels of attrition. Heck at UTn they have contributing players leave mid-season.

Kenny Smith was a teammate of Kenyata Walker at Meridian Ms. He wanted to join Walker at UF. His father wanted him at GaTech. His mother I believe was ok with UF, but like UAL. The saga went on for a good bit after signing day. Kenny Smith ended up at UAL and became a 3rd round pick in the NFL draft.

So sometimes the parents not the player win in recruiting. Jones' father should know the number 1 thing in recruiting is to get some place where you can get a fair shake and get on the field. If you don't play your chances of the NFL are much lower.

I think we are fine on LBs honestly. What we don't have is depth outside of Duke Dawson and Gardner. I mean who else are we trotting out there?

Harris was playing really good at the end of the year. I am happy to have him back at Safety to play with Gardner. I'm not sure who is going to start at CB other than Dawson... Putu?

If striker and Edward's have committed then blades and Henderson is off the board. It's not unlikely, it's not happening.
