Yes, we know how bad it is. Let's keep this thread for recruiting updates until the dead period.
Pushing hard for Leatherwood. And Herbert.
Might as well lock this thread now.
Is it The Oregon Trail?
...I'll be here all week
But seriously - I hope we can close these guys.
Any other stops?
Maybe we should focus on being Champions of Life... of course his sister goes to Tennessee
and of course extinction of the bison:
What are you suggesting?
To be completely transparent, I will delete any posts that are purposely and completely Trollish. Without warning. Just to keep the thread on track.
Here are some more kids that we are seeing:
OL Commit Kadeem Telford rockets up 107 spots to secure a spot in the coveted Rivals 250.
To be completely transparent, I can't troll well enough to get deleted.
However, I notice you changed your title from "Useless" to "Hopeful". I cannot use that word anymore with UF football. H-O-P-E is a four letter word that only leads to disappointment, bitterness, and broken things around the house. I find your use of the term hurtful and insensitive. I'd ask for a safe space, but that means you'd ban me for a few days. ... I'll try to hold up in this hostile environment.
On topic - without a game this week or next, I expect some serious 'crootin to be happenifying. Who's next on the list? Is there a reason we're using other team's commit list as our 'go visit' list? How many of our current commits are to be visited for flip-prevention? What... is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow? Sorry, went off topic again.
Lets hope we can hold on!
Seems hard to believe. I thought you had to win before you could recruit.
LOL... I see where you are going with that!
I read a little more on him and apparently he lost his Mom, so following his sister to Tennessee might make sense to keep the family close...
Of course he also said that Butch told him they could help him with his "brand"... I guess he wants to be a Champion of Life
Can we offer his sister a scholarship?
We do appreciate your efforts, though, TLB.
2018 5* QB Trevor Lawrence getting the full court press.
Randy Shannon pushing for Herbert and another 4 star OL in S. Florida this week.
In addition two 4* WR (2017 and 2018).
Need to see some DTs on this list.
Muhbefforts is about allahgot. Tell the kids, if you wanna get better, practice more.
Sending the good recruiters to the Gaddy boys.
"Torrian Gray and and Chris Rumph will be in Virginia Beach, Virginia, seeing twin brothers Breyon and Brandon Gaddy."
They need to. We NEED DTs
You makin fun of my fat thumbs?
You know what the ladies say about men with fat thumbs
Well, at least it looks like they're making an effort on the Plan B DT's. It's about F*CKING TIME! Seriously, WTF have they been waiting on. A bunch of arrogant, non-recruiting mother-f*ckers on this coaching staff!
We should have had 4-6 4* DTs under serious consideration (w/ them actually considering us) along w/ a couple of higher end 3* DTs...then about 6-10 Plan B types. We have a support staff that could have sent letters and texts, while a coach could have made a text or call every couple of weeks. Losing the two DTs we had on the hook is inexcusable...but what's more inexcusable is not have a backup plan (or 3 or 4).
Thanks for the updates....
Rivals ranking is even worse. We have A LOT of work to do.
What recruit is Mac visiting out in Oregon?
TBH... I thought the thread title said, "Mac and Company Getting Some Tail"
This thread has soul crushing potential. If I have any hope my gators will be good next year, I can come to this thread.
Just gonna leave this here and updated when(if) we add more bodies.
(Rivals) #commits/Avg *s
#1 Alabama... 23/4.04
#4 Georgia.... 18/3.72
#6 Tennessee 24/3.38
#7 LSU.......... 17/3.65
#8 Miami........ 21/3.19
#12 USCe...... 20/3.4
#14 F$U........ 14/3.71
#22 Arky........ 22/3.05
#25 UF........... 14/3.62
Star avg isn't bad but we don't have nearly enough and aren't meeting area of needs. Total number of 4 and 5 stars combined and are you meeting needs is one good way to look at that stuff.
And half of the few blue chippers we have are publicly wavering.
I'm not sure which is more fun...watching our vaunted offense or the rapid rise in recruiting rankings?
Go ahead and delete it J.
Zach A has a new story up:
The recruiting visits by Florida’s staff on Tuesday included some targets committed to rival schools.
UF coach Jim McElwain, offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier and linebackers coach Randy Shannon saw Miami 4-star offensive tackle commit Navaughn Donaldson and Miami 3-star linebacker De’Andre Wilder. Donaldson officially visited the Gators last month and they may try to flip Wilder for their third LB spot in the class.
While in Miami, the trio of Florida coaches also visited UF offensive tackle commit Kadeem Telfort, 2018 running back James Cook (FSU commit), 2018 safety Nadab Joseph (LSU commit), 2018 defensive end Kayode Oladele, 2018 offensive tackle Kahric Belle and 2018 cornerback Divaad Wilson.
Florida defensive coordinator Geoff Collins paid a visit to Tennessee commit Marquez Bembry, a 4-star athlete, and 2018 prospects in Atlanta.
Defensive line coach Chris Rumph and secondary coach Torrian Gray went to see 4-star safety Devon Hunter (Chesapeake, Va.) and 4-star defensive tackles Breyon and Brandon Gaddy (Virginia Beach, Va.). Florida is battling Virginia Tech for Hunter, while the Gaddy twins recently decommitted from Tennessee.
Wide receivers coach Kerry Dixon II traveled to Texas for 4-star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (Oklahoma commit) and 4-star offensive tackle Stephan Zabie.
Offensive line coach Mike Summers visited a pair of 4-star offensive linemen for 2018, Trey Hill (Warner Robins, Ga.) and FSU commit Christian Meadows (Montezuma, Ga.). Summers also saw 4-star athlete Kearis Jackson (Fort Valley, Ga.) and 3-star running back Lyn-J Dixon (Butler, Ga.).
Running backs coach Tim Skipper checked in on Florida athlete commit Kadarius Toney (Eight Mile, Ala.) and 2018 cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis (Mobile, Ala.), while tight ends coach Greg Nord visited the parents of UF tight end pledge Zech Byrd (Millbrook, Ala.) and 3-star defensive tackle Alec Jackson (Montgomery, Ala.).

3-star cornerback Shawn Davis (Miami/Southridge) had two interceptions, including a 97-yard pick-6, in his team’s 26-7 win over Deerfield Beach. Southridge faces Dr. Phillips on Saturday in the Class 8A state championship game.

What's your favorite color?
Why the heck are we wasting time recruiting Dalvin Cook's younger brother?
