Some asked for it. What kind of season would it take to get you back on board if you are fence sitting or negating about Butters & Company?

I'm struggling between 2 and 3 losses myself. I guess it would depend on who the losses were to and how bad they were. It would be tough for me if we won them all (or only lost one) but got blasted by Clown Town and trailerBammer again.

I guess if we actually had a pulse on offense say top 20 and trending up, and showed promise in recruiting I might be inclined to change my mind regardless of how many losses we had.

For me, it's not losses per se. It's the package that I've seen from Mac so far,

Continuous thumping by good teams, not recruiting enough stud players, along with not taking positions of need in proper numbers. Not having a good Plan B when they don't land the player they want. Game planning.

To get me on board:

1- Fire Nuss
2- Beat good teams & rivals (especially the clowns) and if we lose, be competitive in the game
3- Land those stud recruits that helps a team be elite.
4- Run up the damn score so the backups get playing time, as our legend said, "it's up to them to stop us"

I'm not on the fence. I think he's a good coach. Some coaches just don't fit in in certain places. I think we're still in the wait and see mode about whether he's a good fit for UF or not.

The team is his now after 3 years of bringing in his type of players. It's do or die time. This year will determine his future at UF.

This.

Though I'd add to the recruiting portion that we never be below 10th in recruiting, and preferably top 5.

Also, getting to ATL and losing every year won't cut it. Gotta win there.

I don't understand the 3 loss people. That pretty much means some combo of losses to Mich, FSU, UT, UGA and LSU with most games at home.

I'd like to see no more blowouts. That's big for me. Getting blown out multiple times a years shows how far behind we are. With that, I can live w/ 3 losses, but would prefer no more than 2 regular season losses. To get back to being a championship team we need to be PISSED when we lose 2 games a year!

For me to jump on the train, he'll need to win the SEC championship. Until that happens, this is what I'd like to see to be more supportive in the meantime:

1. Offense ranked in the top 40 with defense ranked in the top 20 with the condition that both the offense and defense will improve the following year (unless in top 10).

2. No more blowout losses. It's hard watching this team lose games in the 2nd or 3rd quarter.

3. Beat more than one ranked team in a season and at least one in top 10.

4. Don't lose to unranked teams.

5. Win 3 rivalry games in a season. * If strong in other categories then 2 wins may possibly be tolerable

6. All recruiting classes in the top 10 with at least one class in the top 5 within the next two years.

7. Continue to win East and/or respectable bowl game.

8. Continued decrease in arrests.

9. Finish season in top 15 max with top 10 preferred.

I'm not sure. I've lost all hope. I'm actually laying down in front of the Butters train just waiting for it to finish me off.

Could possibly have 2 RBs approach 800 yards rushing = 1600 yds then Thompson can add more.
With WRs Callaway, Dre Massey, Cleveland, Toney?,Powell,(F.Swain, J.Hammond = can't all be on the field at one time.) We got TE Goolsby, 6'4" 244 lbs (last year) & C.Lewis, 6'4" 231 lbs. So plenty of excellent targets with max speed. An offensive coordinator should have high success even with a basic playbook that the players are sure they've caught on to.

One thing I am sure of = this team's O stats will be the best in years.

He was the offensive guru who said at his hiring presser that he could win with his dog Clara bell as QB. UF hired him to replace a coach that had his team in the lowest offensive rankings in D-1 football. UF continues to be in the lowest offensive rankings in D-1 football after 2 years with McElwain.

THAT'S WHY SO MANY HAVE LEFT THE TRAIN.
