Timing seemed a little off to me. He just got a victory and I'm sure biaz was telling him he could get him off with a retrial of the first. Must have found something out that wasnt good news. At least there's no chance of him getting out now.

Eveerybody has hardships. Everybody has loss. His life was a tragedy of his own choosing. That's the damn shame, plain and simple truth of the matter.
well stated. Anytime life is lost its tragic, because life is a gift and precious. However, a tragic life to me would growing up in war torn area like Syria or an area of disease and famine such as subsaharan Africa where these little children have no say in their circumstances. AH grew up in the greatest nation on Earth. Rife with opportunity for those willing to grab it. He chose his path and his exit.

I know many won't agree but I think suicide is a cowardly act.

Sad that a guy with so much flushed it all down the toilet for what? Good riddance that's a guy that's better off dead and not costing tax payers...

Every man is responsible for his own actions in life. Hernandez proved to be a criminal psychopath. Dug his own grave. Bye.

The guy was extremely talented and could have lived a great life. He made his choices. Sad no matter how you look at it.

Wow. So much potential. What a sad ending.

I hope he left some finances for his daughter.

Everything about his life story, which includes many other people he came into contact with, is just sad. I hope young men and boys around the country learn from his mistakes.

That is undoubtedly true and Hernandez could have displayed sociopathic tendencies. I'm just speculating the impact of losing his father. Even his mother has commented what a profound effect it had on him.

I would bet if we went through his psychological history...he has been showing signs of being a sociopath since birth. Maybe the signs were small and few and far between but I bet they were there.

The world is a better place today.
