Yes there would, but since it's not a win or you're done issue, I don't think there are many if any rooting for losses. Maybe some who truly believe a bad season would get him fired. And that's the crux of it, how many losses are people willing to root for in order to get rid of Mac. If it's one game and Mac would certainly be fired, the vast majority of dumpers would root for a loss. So I can understand why some people think folks are rooting for losses, because if it was a one and done, they'd be rooting for a loss. I doubt anyone would be willing to sacrifice the losses it would really take. There might be some, I still want us to win. Just I'm not going to pretend this isn't an issue either.
c'mon tag, I mean its not like they were slacking on company time...I'm at home today so I'm not defrauding my employer by posting this.
But watching SportsCenter (which reruns every hour ) all morning and having them laughing at us saying things like "as of this moment no more Florida players have been suspended" tells me I don't care if these players get charged with felonies or not, Mac is doing something wrong.

For everyone posting on GC during work hours...a question: If the time spent posting were converted to money at your present payrate, would that exceed the legal level to trigger felony charges if charged with theft?

Get a grip dude, that vein in your head is going to pop. Dumpers are so easy to anger.
depends are you going to offset the amount of work I do and not get compensated for first?
Does your boss own the company or is he busy posting on GC?My boss say no.
He's a witch! At this point I'm worried the Feds are going to show up and haul me away in chains for providing this website. I evidently am an accessory in thousands of counts of fraud, i.e. people logging on at work.
I'm the one calling them thieves. I don't punch a time clock and haven't for over 25 years. Maybe one day you won't have to either...but I doubt it.It's funny to read people proclaiming that the players are thieves stealing from the school and yet the poster is at work stealing paid time from their company. The player will have to repay the money. Is the poster going to add up all the time they spent on this forum and repay the company for their loss? After all, thieving is thieving.
This same scenario has played out at many places. Alabama and Nick Saban had this happen years ago. It's not a new scheme. The players will repay the funds, no charges will be filed and everyone moves on. The only player in real trouble is the one that paid his rent with stolen cards and that was a completely separate issue.
The Mac haters are running around in circles screaming and ripping their hair out over this issue because they have an agenda. Chip Kelly has an expired show cause from the NCAA for actually running an out of control program that really did cheat and the dumpers would all welcome him with open arms. There was a post this week about how great Pell was (and he was) and he ran an out of control program that cheated. Spurrier had a group of several stars that were actually taking real money from a real agent. How many Bama players have been arrested with a gun and drugs or been shot in the last two years? Saban does not run an out of control program and everyone would welcome him as coach at UF as well.
Even the best coaches with the most disciplined program can have something like this happen. It's being handled well. The players are being suspended so that there are no NCAA issues.
I hate to burst the bubble of all the people at work hoping the boss doesn't see they aren't actually working, but this type of crime is considered to be fairly small. You know, like getting paid to work when you're actually not working.
When you make 4.50 an hour, takes some posting time to get to $500.Please stop while you're behind. It's embarrassing. They aren't even in the same stratosphere of the same thing.
Me.Who on here doesn't fudge on deductions on their taxes? Write off a little extra every year?
I believe 20 mph gets you a trip to the jail. Under 20 no. Not sure if over 20 is felony though.Dude, speeding is speeding. Going 1 MPH over the speed limit is the same as doing 180+ while drunk and wiping out an entire group of nuns.

They made a very good Navy Grog there! At Disney, years ago, I got into the Haunted Mansion without an E-ticket. I was paying a gazzilion dollars to stay in the Polynesian so I figured fair was fair.
