I was skeptical when the name Franz Beard was attached to the rumor

this was made up from the start.. and good we don't want Chip Kelly he is old we want Frost man.

Kelly is really not that old, like early mid 50’s. What makes me worried about Kelly is that he would bolt back to the NFL if given a chance and I don’t feel he’d be as motivated as a guy like Frost or Norvell. Plus Kelly has already been linked to some NCAA trouble, don’t want him to get us in hot water with the NCAA.

I was too hopeful to have something to be excited about again. At least the last 24 hours were more fun than what we have. The longer it takes to hear anything substantial / solid evidence, the less likely it will be the Chip. I am just worried while we all are speculating Frost vs Chip, we end up with neither...

I have heard the exact same thing about them working with an existing coach. If Spurrier also said it that's him and someone in the AD dept. a few weeks ago. But things change so who knows.

The Vilma radio interview with ESPN Thursday is the thing that has me thinking. He's around Kelly constantly and said Kelly had suddenly gone into a hole.

“You know what, he’s probably working on me getting the LB position,” said Vilma. “I am going to be the linebackers coach with him. UCLA, Florida somewhere. It’s going down. He won’t spill the beans but it’s going down.”

Anywhere from late today to Tuesday would be my guess. I'm probably believing this rumor more now than I was 24 hours ago.
