We just don't know. Maybe Stricklin flubbed the dub. Maybe Chip Kelly didn't like Stricklin. Maybe this and maybe that. Maybe Stricklin made Kelly the best deal that could have been made and Chip Kelly just didn't want to come to UF. Maybe. Maybe not.

We don't have another week to wait on a guy that is not even employed as a coach. This is some prima donna BS stuff.

Bingo! This was either a giant smokescreen or a bad fit from the entourage. No way he was planning on coming and not be signed by Tuesday. Coaches know if they want to go to a University without needing to “test the waters” elsewhere. UF is a top 5 job. He knew from the start if he realistically was coming. Either we were leverage for another destination or he is part of the smokescreen to hide our working behind the scene on Frost.

Strong is a left over. No different than Norvell, Campell, Taggert, and so on. Can someone please explain the phrase “the dynamic of coaching at UF”. Sounds a lot like the BS culture argument. It is Football we are talking about right? The dynamic of coaching football is somehow interstellar physics compared to anywhere else???? Laughable. How much do you think Urban new about some mysterious “dynamic”? He was a f’ing football coach that knew how to win games, big games, lots of game, championship games. Not sure what dynamic you are trying to fit but if it ain’t about winning NC’s, sorry.....I am not interested in this special dynamic. To me, the use of not understanding the “dynamic” or fitting into the “culture” are words used by AD when they miss the guy they want and need a reason for why an agreement could not be reached.

Anytime you want, you can stop with this lack of culture crap.

I don't want a coach that's going to cheat and bring NCAA sanctions. SOS was never accused of cheating and he was successful. Can say for sure about Meyer. Not cheating is a culture. One that you want the coach to embrace and pass down to the athletes.

I don't want coach that's going to chase co-eds around or arrange strippers, etc. That's a culture of making moral decisions that you also want the coach to pass to the athletes.

I want a coach that's going to commit to the program unlike Meyer who left when it going got tough. Commitment to the program is also culture that again you want the coach to pass on to the athletes.

Winning at all costs is not a culture that I care for.

I didn't believe it from day one. But I'm not going to say "I told you so." I'd rather all who did believe we were getting Kelly be able to say that to me.

When it comes to my teams, if I'm thinking negative, I want to be proven wrong every. Single. Time.

That said, if the latest on Kelly is true, put the full court press on Frost.

Otherwise, we've fallen into a state of mediocrity forever.

This is our last chance to get out of purgatory. Need to pull out all the stops.
