The game that nobody cares about is the one at noon tomorrow. 13 hours away and not one person is talking about it.

What exactly does that mean.... overplayed his hand?

Backed out of a deal with Florida and nixed talks with UCLA over Under Armour because he's a Phil Knight Nike guy. The guy's a kook.

All of this according to a financial advisor from Ocala who says it was leaked by a Kelly assistant who supposedly stands to be hired by Kelly if Kelly himself can ever get over himself, which sounds like Jonathan Vilma.

How's that for clear and authentic?

I think I still want Chip. However, I feel that he's not focused, not ready to work hard.

He wants to get paid on his laurels, and not do the ugly needed to make the sausage.

I think I still want him to coach, but he seems icky to me. There's something off to me.

There's something to this. It's like we asked the Head Cheerleader to Prom and we're waiting for her answer.

There's some other girls on the squad who are starting to look real good right about now. Maybe they even try a little harder to impress us.

Betty Sue is starting to look mighty fine the more CK keeps us hanging.

If you are an OC for four schools and no one has come after you that's not good....Strong had him at Texas and was awful....If Strickland hires Strong he's going to drag Gilbert with him

Except that Texas improved from the 92nd best offense in 2015 to 16th best the following year, the year Gilbert took over.

You've got a point. The real point though is Strong is a defensive guy. Strickland takes us down that road again the UF fan base will mutiny. I don't want Strong. He's 57 and yesterday's game and I'm just not interest in him. I want someone animated and fired up. I want someone new that really slings that ball around. DC's are cheap and a dime a dozen. You can go out and hire a good one while you are concentrating on an effin vertical passing game which is a decade past due at SOS Field.

The only sure thing about Chip Kelly is he 2018 recruiting class. No guarantees he coaches us up. His Pac 12 success of high offence and no defense not necessarily good thing for us. SEC down, but the defense athletes can match Kelly speed Offensive schemes.

What are you talking about? I'm VERY interested in it. We have a chance to blow up their little possible toilet bowl invite and watch them have to play that pointless game after losing to us and losing a chance at a low tier bowl game after which they would not be eligible for. Imagine them playing THAT game after rescheduling it for the now gone bowl invite. That would be awesome.

So, you are suggesting we hire Gilbert?

He may get offers now regardless. He has done well. That O is 100 times better than under Harbaugh lite Taggart.

Hard to say what happens if Kelly and Frost pass and Norvell's not available. Strong's not an attractive candidate with the fans but you have to wonder what Stricklin does in that situation. Just pointing out possibilities as well as the obvious positive impact Gilbert's had.

Didn't his Oregon team look a little bewildered in the end with that SEC speed in Auburn? Or am I wrong here? Or was that a Helfrich coached team?

Again...sending Fuchs and Co up there and coming home empty handed was all you needed to know.
