Don't the position coaches at the school have influence over what recruits decide to enroll in that school? So, wouldn't it have the worst effect on getting the best athletes, when the HC hasn't hired
all the position coaches?

Might want to pencil in Chris Wilson with a ? for DL

Warren was the ST coordinator at UT, but Knox's coverage defense was 18 (punt) and 20 (kickoff), which is much better than UT - not close at all. So advantage Knox who has some WR coaching experience. Then slide Gonzales at TE? Or use Gonzales as a utility coach to try and install the offense as quick as possible. If they do take Knox and slide over Gonzales, may Surtain is still in play. Bring him in slowly by splitting the secondary. Or add Buckley.

Not sure how or if to interpret it, but the website only lists Gonzales, Hevesy & Johnson on offense, plus Grantham & Warren on defense. Maybe they are still negotiating/evaluating with Seider, Davis & Skipper.

I like the idea of Hevesy taking OT & TE with Davis coaching the C/OGs.

Yeah Davis is gone. I'd love to have someone focus on ST's only, even if that is only half a job.
If we add a coach for safeties then Warren has more time to focus on ST's.

I don't think that's a done deal. And he was also RB coach so that makes it awkward with Seider If he would coach only ST hat would be fine by me but I don't know if that could happen.

Mullen has enough former MSU guys on staff. Time to broaden the gene pool.

He's coached WR in the past, so he could just be ST if hired. I think Mullen may overload on the offensive side to help get the offense installed. I'd rather see 5 and 5, but I'm not him
