LMAO. Ppl complained in 06 when UF destroyed OSU for the NC??
Yeah, we complained when he struggled to score 20 most sec games.

If they had used the "let Leak throw" game plan we used vs OSU, we would have probably gone undefeated and won easily scored 40 points a game.

The truth is that our offense was so shyttastic that we nearly got left out of that game bc our offense was so terrible.

So based on what i have read on here the last couple pages Mullen's offense isn't great, stud WR's probably won't want to play in it and he can't recruit. Sounds like a great hire. *sarcasm* Glad we got a jump by getting rid of Mac early need to see it pay off. Blocking or not Thornton is a stud.

Do your own research, dont form an opinion based on what you read here.

One complaint I heard from analyst's and anonymous coaches about Nuss and his offense was his routes were extremely slow developing and some of the route packages didn't make sense. Some routes would run receivers into coverage vice away. Also said you needed any above average line to pass in that offense and we didn't have it.

I'll tell you what I've been more letdown than I thought I'd be so far. Very underwhelmed by his recruiting and coaching hires. What's 6 more years of being terrible im starting to get used to it

I'm a little let down by the recruiting so far as well but it's not entirely unexpected given the reputation of the program (that Mac left) and the change in offensive schemes. The coaching staff though seems solid. I don't understand the pessimism there.

I was hoping he could keep this class together but lets face it the negative recruiting is in full force. It's exactly what ran Urban off. Remember when Brandon James became a full time receiver Meyers final year, that's what we have to look forward to.
Mullen will build the same exact team with the same 3 star players here that he built at MSU 7-5 8-4 That's his ceiling.

After they see the offense, no WR will want to play in it. It's just not going to get you ready for the NFL as a WR. It doesn't feature WRs at all unless you're an unbelievable talent like Percy that can run out of the backfield on sweeps and option.

See I think this is total BS negativity.

Does it not seem like recruits year after year have a scheme to troll us. Unfortunately with early signing we get the burn twice.

Doubt it happens, and not really due to RB being our deepest position on offense lol

Their not trolling us they don't like Mullens offense. There are many variations of the spread and his is QB QB QB Frost would have kept everyone of these kids.

Actually, my memory is that they did complain about WRs having to block. Didn't make sense then and doesn't make much now. I can remember several WRs who would not have had a NFL career If they hadn't been good blockers.

I'm more referring to the likes of Copeland and co., Shavar Manuel and the Dalvin Cook types. Where they comit then decommit then post pro gator stuff to keep drawing attention.

Meyer/Mullen's version has more titles than Frost's version. UF UF OSU / Kelly/Frost = Zero
