I just want Mullen to reel in a nice QB that fits what he wants to do, like Jones, this class and the rest will be gravy. This new early signing period has made things difficult for coaches like Saban so you can only imagine what the coaching change schools are feeling. Next years class will be the important one in judging Mullen's recruiting ability. A year to develop relationships and showing some improvement on offense will be key. I don't want Mullen taking bodies just to take them in the hopes of improving our class ranking.

Meyer is not our coach. His style of offense is already catching up to him, two loses this year in the sh!tty big ten. This offense takes generational type players Tebow, Harvin and a solid o-line we have none of those.

Meyer titles are Meyer's. I really need some of you understand this. Mullen wanted so many of his own that he stayed at MSU for 9 years. LOL. Come on. Meyer's won everywhere he's been. Yeah, we complained when he struggled to score 20 most sec games.

If they had used the "let Leak throw" game plan we used vs OSU, we would have probably gone undefeated and won easily scored 40 points a game.

The truth is that our offense was so shyttastic that we nearly got left out of that game bc our offense was so terrible.

Respect your knowledge, Law, but my memory of Leak is the Auburn game, where his attempt to pass was so ineffectual that it was ruled a fumble. And he was in the pocket.

Wrong. In fact weekly "what's wrong with the Gators offense" segments by analysts were common every uear except 2007 and 2008.

So.... is it possible that’s because they were trying to run a new scheme with primarily Ron zooks recruits? The years you just mention were year 3&4 with Mullen as our OC..... when they had “their guys” running the scheme....

Yet, they did still manage a national championship in 2006... Granted it was largely on the backs of a great D.... unfortunately Mac didn’t leave us with near that talent on D especially.

It would be a mistake to think that most posters on this site are about winning. No, what matters here are "style points". After we lost Kelly and Frost, we could still have had Strong who would have won NCs. But style points are more important.
