My XFL rules

[ChiefGator]

No kickoffs, punts, or kicked extra points. You get the ball on the 25 instead of kick offs, and the coin toss determines who gets the ball first. No punts either you get say 35 yards or just go for it on fourth down.

This shortens the game and eliminates the need for special teams.

No time outs except those for TV and injuries.

All rules as in college, except no targeting and no "instant" replay either.

No signals to the players either, the QB and middle linebacker will have to adjust in real time.

This will make the game shorter and cheaper as well. I might adopt some CFL rules as well.

I suppose you could shorten the game so much there would be no time for fans to settle in their seats before the game ends. Of course that is assuming there will be fans to begin with.

Shorten the play clock to 15 seconds, keeping the game running like a rugby match.
