Let him be Ox, he’s still trying to learn how to cope with his boy getting canned at Arkansas
He may never recover.

There was no rational reason to believe that Nusschump Ball was going to be anything but Nusschump Ball.

"He just needed the right QB." Said by everybody who defended Butters n Nuss. It is comical thinking about all the people (including myself) from 2014 when Butters got hired who thought he was gonna be some QB whisperer who could turn anybody into Tom Brady.

Better yet how could he have beaten our last coach with a bunch of 2 stars and walkons despite you and all the "experts" around here telling me otherwise? :dunno:
Mullen doesn't have a Sunday caliber defense nor will he have a Heisman caliber QB to go undefeated in his first 6 games....Not his fault but his work is cut out for him so again 6-6 sounds pretty reasonable to me and like I said there is not a coach alive who could/will get 10 wins out of this team this year.

The one I think everyone is missing on is the UK game. Their offense will be alive this year and it will be a bad match up for UF in the second game of the season. The FSU game will be a bowl eligibility game for both teams and most likely a toss up. The wild card is going to be whether we get an eligible QB transfer....If not were staring 6-6 or 5-7 directly in the face.....BTW I'm certainly no Trask fan but he most likely is the best we got at this point to start the season but it is only Spring and this will have to be revisited in August when the scrimmages are at full strength. The freshmen's feet may be a dreaded but needed part of the offense it pains me to say.....

UK has had more supposed break out seasons than our offensive line

Its absolutely hilarious that you keep touting Bert beating Butters as a big event....

Why does everyone like MSU beating us? I know StarkVegas is a difficult place to play because of the incessant torture of the illegal cowbells. But they have a new coach and a new scheme to learn without all the athletes we have. We're gonna win that one.

If you have to ask that question you don't watch much college football outside of UF, right?

Miss State returns 18 starters, including their QB (we return Franks), the game is on the road, at Miss State (have you followed the trend of the last 20+ years and our track record vs. SEC West teams on the road?), they are in every pre-season top 25 (and we're not), they won their bowl game w/ a skeleton coaching staff (we didn't play in a bowl game), they're coming off a 9 win season (we won 4 games)....plus, to add fuel to the fire: they will have the 'revenge' factor in wanting to beat their ex-coach (not only will the players be fired up for the game, so will the fans).

All the "athletes" we have? Who have done absolutely nothing in their entire careers? Those athletes? To disparage Miss State's roster is to disparage our own coach (that's HIS roster). The 'new' coach just left Penn State where he CRUSHED it as the OC. He's also a former head coach at an FCS school where he won big. Sure, it's a new scheme....but it matters to MSU, but not to UF - who is also installing a new scheme?

Again, our starting QB is going to be Franks, Trask, or a true freshman vs. their experienced, senior, successful QB.

I'm hoping we don't get blown out in this one.

That's a pretty convincing argument BMF. In comparison, I definitely like our chances better against LSU, and the unintelligible one - particularly in the swamp. Also, your thoughts about the team DM left behind are actually quite encouraging, in a back-handed sort of way.

Exactly. I drank the koolaid too, and now I’m like, WTF was I thinking?

It was like Jim Jones and Guyana with Butters starring as Jones. He told us how great things were and we all drank the koolaid. Everybody died.

You honestly don't think Saban or Meyer could get 10 wins with the horrendously easy schedule we have this year?

I'm gonna go with 8-5. I see loses to TN, 24+ point blowout to UGA, USC, FSU, and the bowl game. Then I'll say we finish 9th in recruiting because of size of the class

I don't see us being competitive with UGA for a couple years, they have just to much more talent right now and the gap is only widening

A 24+ blowout to USC? You’re retarded.

We were assured that the only reason Mullinz is 3-38 vs ranked teams and 33-39 in SEC is because of the terrible talent at Cowbell.

We are just following the rules.

Didn't say a 24+ point blowout to SC there was a comma before SC. I think we get blown out just by UGA. I was going in order I figured you'd understand but I guess you're the retarded one.

We are fanatics. We are supposed to wear orange and blue goggles.

You would have laughed if he was at Ugly or Clown Town and they were making the excuses.

The battle between hope and reason is real.

9 wins is the ceiling if a QB emerges and O line improves, and we stay healthy. 6 wins is the floor if we struggle with the O line and QB.

Blah blah blah. Don't act like you beat Saban, mother effer. Everybody beat Butters. Hell, Vandy beat Butters. Kentucky would have beaten Butters if they had remembered to play CBs.

The only reason that fat azz had two stars and walk ons is because he's the worst recruiter in the last three decades at Arkansas
