I know I'm inviting a fusillade of derisive braying from you know who, but not only do I think it will be Trask, I think he'll do a decent job of filling the QB slot, until Jones is ready to take over, by about mid-season. I also think we'll see more passing than a certain jackass of our mutual acquaintance might expect. All will be revealed in the fullness of time.

But I’d argue about the first sentence. Tons on here seem to think we’ll win 10 games with this sh*t show Butters left in his wake. I cringe when I think about the meltdowns on the horizon.

I don't think the quarterback position is settled by any stretch. This thing will go up until the final day of preseason practice, possibly longer. Even then, it's only to see who keeps the seat warm for Jones.

I don’t think it’s settled, but I also think Franks starts by default. Trask isn’t a real option IMO and I don’t think he’ll start Jones that early. If he does, it’ll speak volumes about how bad Franks is.

Sorry, not to be a naysayer but, until proven different we still have the WORST OL in the SEC. We just don't have OL talent. Summers and the moron last season destroyed our OL. We have too many kids who should be at Bowling Green or other MAC Schools. I don't see the offense being much better if we cannot run block and pass protect.

Franks has had forever already to figure it out. The only things Franks figured out were how to panic 2 seconds after the snap, and how to be fsu's MVP in last year's joke of a game. Either hand the reigns to Jones now, or let Trask show what he can do. If that guy ever really turned it on I think he could be a baller.

Laugh #1. No one said our problems were limited to quarterback, but you'd have to be blind and/or ignorant to not see the impact of dismal quarterbacking since Tebow graduated.

Laugh #2. Franks is so bad that it's unavoidable Trask sees playing time. Watching you become unhinged will be worth the price of admission.

I'm mildly surprised at the poll results. An improvement of 75 yards a game moves us into the 50's. You turds don't think we can improve a lousy 75 yards a game from that absolute dumpster fire last year?

But why do we automatically assume Mullen and co will do any better? We were saying the same exact shcit when we hire Mac. Any team qb'd by Franks is gonna be terrible on offense.
