Yeah that article really sums up the data on Mullen quite well. All we can do is hope he can be better with better talent.
BTW, I took this data and combined it with data on talent for UF's schedule
UF: Coach 13, five year Talent 14, average 13.5
Charleston So: 66*, 137**, 101.5
UK: 46, 31**, 38.5
Co. State: 66*, 79**, 72.5
UTn: 57, 10, 33.5,
Miss St: 58, 25, 41.5
LSU: 56, 6, 31
Vandy: 50, 45**
UGa: 8, 3, 5.5
UMo: 55, 42**, 48.5
SoCar: 37, 21, 29
Idaho: 66*, 128**, 97
FSU: 34, 4, 19
*are teams not ranked among the 65 power 5 coaches and arbitrarily assigned 66.
** are not in the top 25 talent rankings here:

so the prior year's final talent ranking

is used as a proxy:
This clearly points out why I looked at this schedule and said that 10 wins are the minimum acceptable number of wins this season or Mullen was NOT the right hire.
