"We are finally going to catch up." Then they see the bill and cut stuff left and right, all so they can send 80-120 mil per year in football revenue God knows where.

I understand...TRUST ME! We're not what we once was but with Foley now gone I expect everything is going to be fixed soon. It May be 2-3 yrs but it will be corrected because we now have an AD who understands that football is the bell cow at UF and hes going to spend whatever it takes to make us relevant again!
An AD that understands football is the bell cow? He pushed back the stand alone and expedited the baseball stadium. Not only that, any AD that hires Dan Mullen isn't interested in winning championships.

He had to expedite baseball to build the stand alone. The one that we were going to build was going to be a joke.

Gatorsports article on Quashon Fuller:

With a month-long dead period commencing in several days, Fuller arrived Wednesday morning to tour Florida’s facilities and meet with UF coach Dan Mullen and the coaching staff.

“I really wanted to see everything Florida had to offer,” Fuller said. “Coach has just been saying where I’d fit on the depth chart, as far as playing time, and how I would help the team win a national championship.”

While Fuller remains verbally committed to the Seminoles — 247Sports has him labeled as “100% committed” — the Lehigh Acres native said he had no comment when asked if he was fully locked in to FSU right now.

“That’s a good question,” he said. “I’m still evaluating everything.”

And from the way Fuller describes his relationship with the Seminoles coaching staff, it seems beneficial for him to gather as much information as possible from programs outside of Tallahassee.

“I haven’t talked to Willie Taggart in a long time,” Fuller revealed.

“It all comes down to my feeling, like do I feel like I can play here and are we competing for a national championship,” Fuller said. “And if my mom is going to be able to see me come play.”

An FSU writer on 247 put in a crystal ball a couple days ago for Fuller to flip to UF. Miami and UGA want him too, so it would be a quality pick up for us.

CLASS OF 2019 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | State | Position | Team

Rivals.com National Recruiting Director Mike Farrell and National Recruiting Analyst Adam Gorney don’t always see eye to eye. In this edition of Rival Views, the two debate who is the best 2019 running back.

RANKINGS QUESTIONS: Texas | Florida | Midwest | Southeast | Mid-Atlantic | West

FARRELL'S VIEW: DEVYN FORD

I’m going to go with Ford for many reasons. I like

Trey Sanders
,
Noah Cain
,
Sean Dollars
and many others, but Ford has the best combination of size, quickness, agility and the best jump cut of the group. He can hurt you inside and bounce it outside with ease and he can be a natural pass catcher at the next level.

He may not be the physical specimen that Sanders is or have the ability in the passing game of Dollars, but he has the best combination of skills in this class. That being said, it’s a very close call.

GORNEY'S VIEW: TREY SANDERS

Sanders is the most well-rounded and special running back in this class and he has clearly separated himself from some other highly talented players at his position.

He has everything someone looks for in a top-end running back from great size, to excellent vision, to patience, to the ability to hit the hole, bounce off tackles, shed arm tackles and then special speed to be a game-breaker once he gets to the secondary.

When I saw him last season against a talented Corona (Calif.) Centennial defense that likes to fly around the field, Sanders looked like a man on the football field and just decimated that Centennial defense. He runs with a mix of power and speed and even though he is no longer committed to Alabama, Sanders looks exactly like what you’d expect to come out of the backfield in Tuscaloosa.

Ford, Cain, Dollars and some other running backs could be in the conversation but Sanders is in a class by himself.

Who in this top 10 do we have a realistic shot at getting besides Sanders?
