In one month? That would be a great haul.
We’re talking about Friday Night Lights and the summer camps. Check and see what Urban used to pull.

We need to land the below in July:

Sanders
Jones (Emory’s cousin)
Kimbrough
Higgins
Rae or Zip
Fuller

Not asking too much, right?

Yes, yes it is.

Sanders is 50-60% CB'd to Bammer. Let it go.
Jones still likely to go to Auburn.
We're Kimbrough's favorite by a mile. Yeehaw.
We're trending for Higgins. That would be nice.
Canes are in on Zip, but didn't he talk about wanting to leave FL? Not buying the supposed interest in UF.
Anyone's guess as to what Rae will do.
Fuller still committed to FSU.

We could get NONE. I say we get three: Kimbrough, Rae, and Higgins as the nice surprise.

I'd bet we only get one of these guys in July, if any.

I think I’m just used to whiffing so much lately that I can’t imagine pulling something like this off lol. I’m scarred.

I think our problem is our last 2 hires are car salesman. They try and act young and hip thinking it's what the players want to see and hear instead of acting like a football coach. Dan Mullen is 46 year old white man walking around in dockers a polo and Air Jordon's. If that don't scream fake person then there ain't any fake people out there. I highly doubt any of the players are like did you see coaches shoes he looked dope in those with his dockers on. If you look at the top recruiters they don't take that approach of I'm gonna try and act young and hip. Now I will say Dabo seems to act like that a little but you don't ever see them fighting for the #1 class either.

What you wear does not matter as much as if a competitive team is always on the field. This has to be for both sides of the ball, not just defensive units. Chump is now learning that.

Youre an Assclown, but you are funny some times.

For a Clown.

Are you trying to call me a Nole? That's funny. I probably hate the Noles more than everyone on this board combined. Just because I don't agree with your lunacy sometimes doesn't make me a Fraud St fan. You bring up some good points, but rejecting ballers because they come from another state so we can get some UCF targeted players is bonkers.

You're missing my point. I'm saying he's a fake person which imo is one of the reason I believe recruits are not committing when they visit. They see he's not genuine and he tries to act a certain way to make the players think he's someone he's not and I believe they are seeing right through it.

I'm not one of the believers that thinks winning cures everything. Look at Nick Saban he took over Bama in 07 his transition class was 10th then he had the #1 class his 1st full class. They finished 7-6 and even lost to Louisiana Monroe still finished with the #1 class his 1st full year. Urban took over at UF in 05 and had the #15 class his transition year, then finished #2 his 1st full year. He finished 9-3 which is pretty good. Kirby took over UGA and had a #9 class in his transition year then had the #1 class in his 1st full year. They were 8-5 his 1st year which average yet #1 class. Those imo are the 3 best recruiters in college football right now. So I think it's more about how well you can recruit and not as much how well you do on the field. I'm not saying you can just lose every game and still recruit well but I think it's more about who's recruiting you than wins.

Yep that 2nd class at these top football schools tell whether the new coach can recruit or not. Mac's 2nd class showed he was a lousy recruiter and I am hoping Mullen can avoid that fate but it looks like he is shooting for a class that is no better than 6th in the SEC himself just like Mac.
