how do you anticipate things like injuries/suspensions.
I was saying judge Nuss in year three and gave him strike one during the Michigan game ...

we got crushed by suspensions and injuries much worse than a major level NCAA scholarship penalty ...

we lost the 11 suspended players and 10 injured players (we lead the NCAA in injured/ suspended players) ...

I still gave Nuss strike one in game one on firing in spite of the injuries.

Mac's 2018 class was looking good initially but when we lost the 11 suspended players and had numerous injuries the 2018 season fell apart

As a high school possession WR I know a good WR when I see one.

This quote is unrelated to the others but too hysterical to leave out.

I gave Mac strike one when Mac lost to Michigan.

Mac called a terrible game versus Michigan so strike one for firing.

ignorance of the importance of healthy eligible top talent

Well, and the occasional shooting/attempted murder of a few guys in a car on University Avenue, too. Oh, I almost forgot the punching the bouncer and rupturing his eardrum incidents. :giggle:

I’m sure if they’d been arrested for attempted murder, they would’ve been sent packing. Not debating whether or not it was them, just that’s there obviously wasn’t as clear cut a case as this.

And honestly, I’m ok with a bar fight and occasional thug attitude. That, unfortunately, is part of the deal now. I’m just saying that a lot of the arrests under Meyer were fairly harmless, and the ones that weren’t were dismissed.

I've always thought the term "possession receiver" was the absolute dumbest term in football. Right up there with "physicality". Awful....just awful.

I mean I know what they're attempting to insinuate. Slow, short to mid route receiver who can catch the ball in traffic and hold onto it. But it's such a dumb term. EVERY receiver should be a freaking possession receiver. Are there any receivers who don't want to possess the ball?

I called it flanker when I played it. As opposed to the faster split end. I hear flanker called "possession receiver" a lot nowadays or slot WR.

You have to be able to block and go over the middle which Van can do.

Van Jefferson had videos of him running excellent routes. His NFL coach dad has trained him well. Douglas will eat his words on Van next season. NFL WR Doering understands WRs and he thinks than Van is excellent. Douglas will be wrong.

"Obviously he lives in the household and has grown up working with an NFL wide receivers coach who was a great player in his own right at Central Florida and then in the NFL for many, many years. So he’s learned how to run routes at an early age,” Hester said. “I’ve been a coach for 19 years, and he’s by far the most polished route runner that’s ever walked through the door of any school that I’ve worked at. That’s his biggest asset. He runs routes like an NFL wide receiver. Probably a little undersized weight-wise, but is a long, lean kid and able to play in the slot and on the outside.

“I think he still has yet to reach his ceiling. I think he can still continue to grow as a wide receiver, and I’m excited to see what Coach Gonzales and the staff at Florida can do with him.”

Not at all. But since you live in the Tampa strip clubs looks like that's where your sex life comes from.
Mons Venus. I'm not sayin, I'm just sayin.

Listen buddy, you don't have game and you've never had game. You probably don't even know what the game is. Hell you can't even type like anything but a dork.

Sex life is a bad topic for you Professor Pussycat. Just leave it alone.

The Donkey's new tagline "three star U" begs the question: Why are 3 star movies usually pretty good, but three star recruits usually suck? WTF?
