Ridiculous we barely got beat by that Kentucky team and we just beat the 23rd ranked team which that Kentucky team beat also. I was expecting 20 to 25 to be our ranking

The fact that VT is still ranked is a ****ing joke. They lost to Old Dominion. We lost to #15 and have two major SEC road wins

So Oklahoma state gets beat by a bad Texas tech team and Virginia tech gets prison raped by a winless old dominion and their ranked ahead of us?

I’m not at all worried about whether we’re ranked or not. I’m just tickled at the improvement we’ve made. It’s fun to watch Gator football again!

I'm glad we aren't ranked. This team has to beat LSU next week to get back into the national discussion. Either way, I'm happy we are even having this discussion at this point. October is gonna be rough. We will see what this team is made out of soon.

Who the hell cares if we are or are not rated in the 20's. Have we no pride? The only advantage to being that low in that poll is it's easier to find our score on game day.

Years ago most polls didn't even go below 20. Unless you were geeking over the Dunkel index.

I'll be pleased if we could get a split in October. With the way the last 2 games of the season are looking we could find our way into a top 20-25 positon and on our way to a bowl game which would almost have to get us a decent recruiting class. Beating the schmitt out of FSUX is not optional this year though.

Corndog game dictates the season.

We beat them they get pissed the following week and beat UGA.

Then we go on a major run, possibly winning out, and beat UGA in the process, and the great mighty UGA will be eliminated from SEC and national play by the end of October.

Who ever thought in a million years that we would need help for someone to beat Kentucky if we were to stay hot and keep winning.

I totally agree 46'. I put no stock in any poll b/c I like to think most of us watch more ball than those who have votes. And most of us are objective in what we see or think. I personally think there are 30 or so teams that would beat us currently on a neutral field, given all things are even, but that does not matter one iota. This week to week garbage is meaningless. The key is this: This team has an unbelievable amount of improving to do, so can it improve on a consistent basis to where we know what type of product we will see, within reason, on a weekly basis?
