We shot 41 2s and UK only shot 29 2s. We almost shot as many 2s as you all had shots. 71 shots to 53.....it was 27 FTs to 6.. no fouling at the end. Probably the biggest disparity in any game today. The fouls on us were mostly legit except the one at the end, but no way in Hell did UK commit only 12 fouls in the game lol. Was that the least amount ever for UK?

23 fouls to 12 and we took 20 more shots, 13 more inside the arc lol

And did you hear one of the halftime commentators talking about how proud he is of Kentucky's play without Fox. Uh... We're without Egbunu and Barry is hobbled, you a$$h0le! Where's the love for us?!!

Proud of this team regardless. Had we been completely healthy, I think we could have made a serious run in the tourney.

As it stands now, I don't think so.

I'm actually not that mad that we loss, since I was expecting it to be bull**** officiating anyways. But it does piss me off that we are probably tied or winning that game if the refs are just bad...not just incompetently biased

We still have a shot, but we need to shore up some defensive, rebounding, and offensive (no inside game) problems that have arisen without Egbunu. And most importantly we need to get healthy

I hate losing to those guys and Calamari as much as anybody. But I'm like you Lee, I would rather drop this one to them, get healthy, and then take care of them in the SEC Tourney if we meet. That's when it will really matter to me.

Tough loss. I'm not a big believer in the ref blame game. They got some home cooking though for sure.

Looking at some stats from the 1st game vs the 2nd

Rebounding - 1st game - We had a 54 - 29 edge on the glass
2nd game - We were outrebounded 36-19

That's a 42 board swing. Crazy.

But as players have acknowledged...the fouls called made it so they couldn't be aggressive defending, driving, or rebounding the fact that we shot 71 times and 42 2s...and they had the least amount of fouls for Kentucky in what...20 years...its a big part of why we lost. Is it the reason, no. We lost because we couldn't rebound and our PGs took themselves out of the game with stupid obvious fouls... but the refs played a big part because we score 80 with bad officiating let alone even offciiciating

The fouls were a huge reason why we loss. Not only did it directly impact us at the line in terms of points, but it also greatly affected our rotations and mindset/aggressiveness. We KNEW we couldn't play physical on D or it'd be a whistle. Never felt this hopeless in a bball game due to the refs. Unacceptable.

Not to mention some terrible shooting, many not even close, and poor rebounding. This game could have been won by us with better offense. Not unexpected but somewhat disappointed.

We've lost 5 other times and nobody has complained about the refs. That's a fact.

It was way too obvious to just ignore it. Believe it or not, officials can in fact impact a game. Shocking, I know.

And yes, I realize we could have hit more shots on O. Doesn't change the fact that it was 8 on 5.

Poor shooting did us in. Barry healthy we have his points. Not what if Egbunu. Seemed like every drive the last 10 min by UK resulted in a foul on us. We wont be fckd again like that in the either tournament. White was all class after the game interview.

Monk going for 30 in the second half sealed the win. That won't happen again. I am awaiting for the rematch in the conference tournament.

Did we forget to defend him or were these mostly free throws?
