Meyer was asked re his intentions when he was on the set of ESPN. It's not as if it's some broad unspoken truth that you don't. And if Kelly doesn't, then you go to the program director and ask if there is an agreement in place not to talk.

Sports reporting is no different than any other line of work. The more you dig, the more you get.

He's clearly the "home run hire" of this cycle, but that does not mean there are not legitimate concerns around him. How long will he stick around? Will he put in the effort in recruiting? Will he be successful in the SEC? I feel like he's the surest bet out there right now, but those who believe its all reward with zero risk and that he's going to be winning the national championship in year 2 are just kidding themselves. The difference between him and say Frost or Norvell is that he sustained success at a bigtime program for more than just a season, so his resume suggests he knows what it takes to be successful.

Im tired of hearing out of respect for this guy or that guy.. You dont hold off on a home run hire announcement due to someones feelings when youre program is floundering. He may be a great guy, ok cool. but he's also a professional and understands this is a business.

Ppl are on tv saying UF better watch out today against UAB... U A B. Are you friggan kidding me? We've fallen this far and we're worried about ppl's feelings when we have a program defining hire right at our fingertips?? GET IT DONE!

Very little likelihood that Coral sees himself fitting in any of the option offenses being mentioned for our next HC, Kelly, Frost, Norvel, Mullins, Strong, Taggart, any of them.
