And in other news, there is no way Corral will pick Ole Miss over us since they are on probation, there is no way Chip will pick UCLA as they don’t have a real football program or resources, and there is no way Frost picks Nebraska because he can’t get the athletes there he can get in Florida.

Did anyone think a 160lb WR would work in this offense? They have to be able to block.

Fallback for what? The make pretend QB he has lined up now?

Fall back for the guys Mullen actually wants. Corral is not a Mullen type QB, but Mullen likely does want a QB in the class and does not want the bad pub of the only committed QB seemingly bailing until he has a new QB ready to commit.

It really should not be surprising that UF has had 3 WRs and a QB decommit since McElwain left but have kept their RB commit. That is the type of offense UF is bring in.

It's funny everyone that decomit's we say we didn't want, doesn't fit the system was pushed out or has grade issues. We never just lose someone. I'm sorry but I'm kind of disappointed in the recruiting so far.

Everything is going exactly as planned. Didn't you already know that?

This year is a lot of fit for the offensive recruits. How many defensive recruits have bailed? is it just the one that was up Shannon's ass or was there more.

No surprise recruits aren’t flocking to play for another corny middle aged white guy. Especially when we are going to run the wishbone.

As discussed above in recruiting everyone is trying to figure out what is happening. This is the way it is every year in recruiting and the uncertainty is even more a problem in the year of a coaching change.

I heard a local kid interviewed on local radio. He was not a great prospect, but got an offer from an ACC school well out of the south and jumped on it publicly committing. He keeps his word, does not waiver and does not explore feelers he gets later from in state SEC schools. Then on or about signing day the ACC school backs off and does not send him a NLOI to sign and fax in. So a kid is struck high and dry without an offer on signing day and scrambles and signs with the hometown lower level D1 school.

Recruiting is a dirty backstabbing business where only one side gets to talk. You have to filter everything you hear including what I heard in a radio interview and reported in my second paragraph above.

Its possible that Mullen strikes out in recruiting. Who knows. What I find hilarious is the people here who think that he should have everything wrapped up after 2 weeks. He has visited alot of kids and signing day is quite a ways off. He is in transition mode trying to hire his staff and put it all together. No excuses here, just reality. Give the guy time. If he fails to deliver, than roast away. Complaining about his results at this point and time is ridiculous.

The EE is messing with coaches who arent looking to fill out a staff while going all over the country recruiting. This race is far from over.
