Franks has a better QB coach than Driskel (who is a quicker thinker than Franks) had. I think Driskel with his 4.5 speed would be a better fit in Mullen's spread system than Muschamp's pro system. Driskel had no touch and fired bullets on the short passes that were uncatchable. Driskel got screwed when Meyer's spread system he fit in was replaced with a pro system at UF.

This performance was an F, period. We all know this is a 4 win team returning, with 2 of those wins basically gifted. I didn’t expect to compete for the east with macs 3* roster and franks at the helm, but we got physically whipped at home. By Kentucky. And that’s on Mullen.

Our DL's poor performance against the run and the injury to Marco Wilson were very disappointing.

agreed. I want to blame Wilson, CeCe, etc. not being there, but it’s kentucky. They may not get that many rushing yards in total for their remaining sec schedule.

Exactly. I wouldn't be so disappointed about watching us struggle against UK....hell, we've done that 4 of the last 5 years.....No what is the most disappointing part is that they have bigger, stronger and more physically imposing football players than UF....We couldn't have even out "McButterChamped" them this year using the normal Rugby style offense we've become so used to watching....we weren't strong enough to do it and that's the reason Mullen threw so much.

Somewhat true, but to be fair to a lot of members on Gatorchatter, myself included, did not want Cousin Eddie hired and/or wanted him fired before he coached a single game. We did not need to see his inability to manage game situations on the Gator sideline to raise hell. Most of us had seen those inabilities when he was at his former job. If Mrs. Cousin Eddie can't take it, well then she should have convinced him to stay at that cow pasture. but my guess is that she likes the increased cha ching she has to spend!

Well at least she's 6mil year to work with. That should ease some of pain of making that drive.

We have neither the coach nor the talent to play with any decent team but there is no excuse for losing to Vandy or Kintucky.

I’m going to really start judging him next year. I want these losers off my team. These are the same losers who gave up to Mizzou and USC and FSU. They have zero heart. Probsbly the worst bunch of players in the history of the entire program.
