I think we win and I think maybe we see Pierce break on the scene like Emmitt in his freshman year.

It's time. It's time.

Pierce is a force of nature.

The team has been talking about him since he started putting on a S and C show in the weight room, and go back and look at how many times he got mentioned lighting it up in pre-season practice.

This dude is like Emmitt's and Barry Sanders's vat grown clone hybrid. And he's all Gator. He juices up the fans and players like Tim did. Pure passion. Relentless effort. Crushing power. Explosive acceleration.

Saddle this kid up and let's ride.

If he gets 10-15 touches Saturday it's gonna be bonkers.

It's time.

You said what has been in the back of my mind awhile. That would be incredible. If we had a back who the other team had to always respect our passing game would improve immensely (fingers crossed)

McElroy and the other guy on the radio this morning actually referred to him as “Emmitt Pierce”.

Tim Jordan is a hard runner who's going to cause us some trouble if our guys try tackling him with their shoulder pads. West Virginia found that out. He just bounced off guys and kept running.

Watched some of that Tenn replay and they can sometimes open up decent holes running off tackle to that left side. That Left tackle of theirs appears to be the real deal - at least in the run game. I hope we don't get caught too small in that area on many plays as he looks like he would easily blow someone up like Polite or Zuniga on running plays.

Is it time to drop the play action pass from our playbook? Nobody is getting fooled and it is taking valuable time away from the QB looking the defense over and this particular QB needs all the time in the world. While the QB has his back turned, you can take advantage of it with a corner blitz.

On Jimmy Hyams blog....Chris Doering has picked the Vols over his own Gators to win in Neyland.
He cites the weakness in both offensive lines. But also picked that if the Gators lost to Kentucky, it would be a loss in Knoxville.

Our defensive weakness could turn this game into a track meet that our offense won’t be able to keep pace with. Or one of those hair pulling games where we give up one or two key big plays while doing nothing on offense. Right now I’m not convinced our defense can stop any SEC team on the schedule. The DC hasn’t shown me anything, we lack talent and depth, and we have a host of injuries in the defensive backfield.

If Pierce doesn’t get the rock and they keep trying to run Franks we for sure lose.

We’re still an offense that slows ourselves down more than the defense we are going up against. We come out dropping passes and missing blocks it will be a long day.

Their qb doesn’t pass much, but completes 72% of his passes and has 3 deep touchdown passes. If they are successful early on they're probably going to hit a couple play action passes and we’re going to have to dig out of a hole.

After all the running kintuckie did on us, I need to see improvement on defense before I pick us to win on the road. It just so happens tinnerc has been worse than us.

I’m trying to be more upbeat, so I picked us. If it was McElshyte, I would’ve picked the Vols

I think the D will play highly motivated by the poor showing vs UK. I believe we'll shut down their run game for the most part and we win this one by two TDs. 31-17

Gators better make a move early and demoralize the voles... and then keep their foot on the gas in the second half. I want the ghost of SOS in that stadium, not maclnuss.

Coach Pruitt said he was really impressed with Coach Mullen and the rest of the staff like Grantham and said they had our program ahead of where he thought it would be at this point.
