Just wanted to point out that not one 2019 recruiting class member is committed. To anyone. A verbal means as much as a friendship ring in mid-school. Not sayin' we'll top 10 or even top twenty but this whole recruiting thing just vaporware.

Ok, so when players give verbals to other teams, we’re screwed.

And when they give verbals to us, we’re screwed. Got it.

The staff, just like any group has to do the hard work of making them stick. As for the day to day usefulness of these commitments and this recruitment dance, it’s all about momentum and nothing more until the LOIs are all faxed and in. Then we can make a full accounting.

Commits stick like 90-95% of the time but the dude emphasizing he still is "open" is concerning.

There is no such thing as a must have CBs. CBs make almost no impact on the game. It is why they are the least recruited and the only type of "bluechip" players sad recruiters can land.
