Been saying for a while that cags has probably single handedly won us half our games. We'd be under .500 without him. Worst gator team in a long long time.

It's schizophrenic! When we finally string together two solid pitching performances we can't hit a lick. These guys would K at whack a Urg.

Picking up right where they left off against starting pitcher TBD. 3 K's to start the game, but Evans was not one of them. He coaxed a walk after a very long at bat. All others swinging at curveballs in the dirt.
Cags wild already. Back to back walks with one out. Wild pitch on his 3rd walk of the inning. Mizzou leads 1-0. So 12th consecutive SEC game where we have trailed at some point. Now a 2 run double to RF 3-0 Mizzou. this is what happens when you allow free passes. A complete disaster both offensively and defensively to start the game.
4-0 Mizzou. Kurland butchers a pop up in short CF. This team was much more its record was than its ranking and it is finally showing. They are horrendous

Now Russell butchers a short pop up in LF. It will be scored a hit. It is a FKKIMG error. 2 on 1 out. Single scores another run and Russell airmails the throw in allowing the runners to advance. Solid baseball. Now a two run single. 7-1 Mizzou. Personally rooting for a run rule. Cags out; Sausage in.
And Craig Bell is no longer on the staff. But would never know it with the fundamentals this team plays with

Well if Sully has any thoughts of changing up the weekend rotation he has his chance next weekend with Cags only throwing 50 pitches today. Granted most of them were out of the zone but this does open the door. Not sure it will matter.

2 out single makes it 8-4 Mizzou. Sausage out, Slater in. Guy who scored reached on a HBP, so that was on Sausage. However he could have been forced at 2B on a comebacker to the mound but did not look like our 2B or SS knew who was covering the bag. And of course that is the runner that scored. But by Sausage standards, he was tremendous.

Shelton singles. Heyman gets hit. Shelnut doubles in Shelton 8-7. Thomas PH for Yost. High chop to the mound and Heyman could have scored from 3rd but chose not to run. I sort of get it with no outs, but a terrible AB by Thomas. Pitching change. Garrison gets hit. Bases loaded 1 out. Albert PH for Guy. Albert walks. 8-8. Good AB by Albert. Kurland K's AGAIN with bases loaded. Cags pops out. We tie the game but with runners on 2nd and 3rd and no outs and only get one run against an awful pitching staff is not acceptable. BTW Kurland sux.

1 out infield single to 3B. Thomas could have made the play but........ If the opponents have not seen enough to date, all you have to do is put the ball in play against the Gator defense. It is awful. seeing eye single to CF. Kurland should have gotten a glove on it but again, he sux. Slater out. Fisher in. Runners on the corners 1 out. That last inning will be the one to haunt the Gators for not blowing it open. Slater was good, finally. Fisher gets out of it. Well done.

Evans reaches 1B on a pop up for 10 seconds that falls behind the mound LOL. Shelton follows with a 2 run HR. 10-8. Thomas doubles to CF for his first hit in a month or so. Where was that last at bat? But left stranded.
