Well, they beat us like they had our "numbers" all right. But I think it's more like the old saw, we were drugged. Drugged up and down the field.

We did have a guy holding up a board above Nuss, guess we knew they were doing something, but as others said, we have 4 plays, it's not hard to steal.

I am still wondering how Nuss managed to have a 3,000 + yard passing QB at Washington I think it was years ago as the OC. Maybe the head coach ran the offense or something.
Yeah that was Sarkisian running the show at Washington, similar to hiring Brent Peace when it was Brian Petersen calling the plays.

We certainly should have stolen their plays and used them.

We should have stipulated that if they stole the plays, they had to take the playcaller with them.

I sincerely doubt this is the case. If Butch's staff were any good at stealing plays they'd have done it long before this game. No, this was simply a case of inept offensive play calling against a defense that had made adjustments and gotten aggressive.

Short of any kind of rigged electronic eavesdropping by the home team, if one team can steal the other team's signals, I say more power to 'em. It is up to the "offended" team from allowing such things to happen.

Maybe we have so disguised our calls that even AA wasn't able to figure out the signals and just audibled to the same 2-3 run plays over and over?

What would they need to steal, if the guard is pulling he is going left. If not just bull rush the line, they are going to pass.

Part of the issue was getting the plays in late. I'm sure part of that was it being Appleby's first start. Need to be able to snap the ball 10 seconds earlier in a hostile environment and mess with the snap count more to slow the DL down.

A big issues on the play clock I attributed it to Appleby's first start. But shouldn't have those issues after a time out which we did as well.

Jake Locker was the QB in 2009 and 2010 as well - he was pretty good.
