Anzalone was not only starting Strongside LB, he was Morrison's backup inside.

Actually, the Will and Mike assignments are similar in the Saban defense. Both are "inside" backers if you will, while the Buck and Sam are outside. They actually end up trading off assignments with motion anyway, rather than flopping sides when the strong side switches. Jarrad will slide over there and frankly he's outplaying Morrison by a bunch at the moment anyway. I guess McMillian becomes the other inside backer then. We do have air behind them at that point.

Seka, I think the answer is yes, we are fine. It's much easier to find a LB than an OL. There are plenty of TEs, DEs, safeties, and RBs with the body to play LB. It's not ideal but we used to play 200lb LBs all the time under Meyer.

yeah, I really don't see him contributing elsewhere unless he has good coverage skills for a LB. Then maybe he could see SOME more time, but not a lot.

Sorry to hear this. Dude is injured a lot. Some bodies just aren't made to play football. Wish him the best and hope he concentrates on school. All these injuries will be exacerbated later in life. He's probably not NFL material. Get that degree and lead a normal life.

I'm 195 pounds and there's no way he weighs as much as I do. At least last year he didn't.
