Giving raises better equate to better recruiting from those fuggin guys...especially on defense and the OL.

I think what some of you are missing is the fact that Mac may already be looking past who's in some of these positions now and maybe more of who he wants the salary levels to be for in the next year or 2

Nuss/Skipper/Dixon/Rumph/Gray are all earning the money they are getting. All of them can recruit & coach while the rest of the staff is pretty much "dead weight" on the trail.

This would be fine if we actually had good assistants.
Well, at least the salary structure is in place for when we fire half these guys in the fall.

Poor Mac was sent around college football trying to find coaches that would work for FAU salary and we got what we got.

while running backs coach Tim Skipper, wide receivers coach Kerry Dixon and tight ends coach Greg Nord are still under contracts through the 2016 campaign. All three coaches signed two-year deals when they joined Jim McElwain’s staff in December 2014.

I'm surprised that no one pointed out that these 3 were not at least extended until '17 (especially that law didn't mention it).

to me it looks like they better get to coaching this fall and show massive improvements, or start pounding the pavement for new jobs.

Again, this new improved pay scale sets the red carpet to guide in better assistant coaches succeeding well in
their recent string of years.

Never seen the WM gif before. So appropriate, but would be better if it were yelling at a chalkboard.

The GC pic only makes me think "C'mere so I can give you a wet willie for f'n up that play"

I wonder if FSU pays out more than we do for assistants now? I would think our revenues are quite a bit higher now being in the SEC.

Feve, I believe 2012 stats were UF = $49 million ...... FSU = $19 million.
