Now if the dialogue has changed to the best show you have ever seen, then it's hand's down Pink Floyd in 1986. I had a good fried who's mom was connected to someone at the Tangerine bowl in Orlando. They needed some extra gate help so she asked him to get some friends together to come work the gate and watch the show. There was 7 of us that went. We started drinking beer at daylight that day. When we got to the T-Bowl it was raining so we stayed in the trucks drinking. It get's to about 3 in the afternoon and we have to report to to gate for instructions as to what our assignments will be. My assignment is gate inspection, you know checking for contraband and such... no umbrellas, bottles of liquor, drugs and so forth. It goes without saying that everyone who entered through my gate was spot on clean.

After the gate was open and the show started we all were told to gather together for our next assignment... crowd control. I had no idea what this meant or what I was suppose to do but it si not matter at all as I was beyond having just a little fun at this point by now. We are then escorted to the front row of the stage to help keep the crowd awaY from the stage. I spent the next 2 hours listening to the band and laughing at everyone from the front row. And as a caveat we each got paid 40 dollars for the nights work, which was then blown in short order on the OBT at the first bar we got to. Man the good times!!!

It's a tough call but I'll give the nod to Mick Jagger.
My Cat buddy went to see them this week in Pittsburgh and wants me to go with him to another show.

I feel like those dudes should be in a wing at a nursing home not on tour. I guess I will see.

A month ago I would have said Maynard James Keenan. He prefers to lurk in the shadows mostly, but he always has a good one liner that will crack you up. The show is never about the band members, as Tool are firm believers in The Wall mentality of making it about the music. I'm extremely bias because he is one of my favorite people ever. Now this past month I saw Garth, and he is awesome. Amazing performance and a really funny guy. Those are my two.

He threw his sweaty thong and I caught it with my teeth. My Bieber Fever quickly turned into a blister on my lip. Every time the sores return I'm reminded of that pretty little man child and stfu I didn't say Bieber

Mick Jagger,
Well, it was a helluva show. These 70 year old guys still do their thing. I was sort of expecting to hear them do a song or two and backup musicians to handle the rest. That wasn't the case at all. They played the whole night and didn't miss miss a lyric or a beat and didn't take a minute off. How many 70 year olds can do anything for three hours?

Frankly, I think they look better now than they did 30 years ago.

It was also a surprisingly young crowd.

Love the Hip! Saw them in G'ville in 96 or so at a small venue (can't remember the name of the place) and got hooked. Have most of their albums and have seen them in Seattle a couple times. They always put on a good show and the Canadians come out of the woodwork - the crowd sings the Canadian National Anthem before the show starts.

Steven Tyler for me, although a darkhorse would be Geoff Tate with Queensryche, especially on the Mindcrime tour when they opened for Def Leppard.

Although, this Sunday evening in nearby Greenville, I get to finally see The Eagles in person. I've seen Henley and Frey solo, but not together. I really don't know who you would say the 'frontman' for The Eagles truly is......either Henley or Frey could eclipse Tyler on my list.

I saw Velvet Revolver in Scranton back in 2005. Pretty sure some of the Foo dates in the U.S. are going to get scrapped, he's recovering from surgery on his leg.

Dave is playing from a Foo Fighters Throne, or at least he did in D.C. this weekend according to reports.

I discovered them in 91/92. I went to that same show in Gville. I've seen them several times in Philly and in Portland. They are on tour again. I think I am going to try to make one of their last shows, which are in Texas. They are just so phenominal live.

If you are going with the best vocals then it has to be Sebastian Bach (Skid Row) he has some chops, but as for show it has to be Diamond Dave. There is no Van Halen without him to hell with Van Hagar.

Boy George. A close second, George Michael. Pole smokers make great singers with flair...

I have to agree with this one, too. He's captivating.

As an aside, I just saw Corey Taylor and Slipknot again this weekend in Tampa. Great seats, great show. Slipknot is always a spectacle.

Never seen them, always have wanted to. I was bummed when Jordy left the band and PG died. Didn't buy their newest album until about two months ago. Stupid me, it kicks ass.

Definitely worth the effort. It's kind of funny that a voice like that can come out of such a little guy.
