If ever it were Hail Mary time, this is it. Bring in Tebow for one final hurrah and let er rip. What the hell do you have to lose? I'm dead serious. The Jags are setting the NFL back 30 years. What's a few more?

I laugh to the point of snorting every time a Jags thread is started here. Is there a more irrelevant franchise in professional sports? And that's a list that includes the Winnipeg Jets, Arizona Coyotes, Oakland A's, Miami Marlins, Orlando Magic, Milwaukee Bucks, Calgary Flames, and Las Vegas Golden Knights.

Agreed. They should call him and beg him, if that's what it takes.

It'll be the same as when Will Grier wins the Heisman. :rolleyes3:
You're saying Tebow has 100-1 odds to get in the baseball Hall of Fame? Because that's the odds Vegas has given Grier to win the Heisman this year.

Not sure if Grier will win it this season, but he'll be at the ceremony. He's going to throw for about a million yards. It's next season that he'll likely win it.

Didn't know you were such a Mountaineer fan.

I'm not. All I say is that he's going to throw for a ****ton of yards. And he will. He's a gunslinger, and the coaching staff there is actually going to let him pass. They don't believe in defense there.

In all seriousness, Bortles is done and Chad Henne is the new Jags starter. Yay? If Bortles plays and gets hurt, the Jags will be on the line for his entire $19 million salary in 2018. Stick a fork in him. Yet another QB bust.
and this f*****-up franchise was afraid to give Tim Tebow will work out even as late as 2014 when Trent Dilfer was saying his throwing motion was much better. The Jags didn't want to scare Blake Bortles live the presence of Tim Tebow. smmfh. I want to root for this franchise they are the underdog franchise in the state but they're completely f***** up top to bottom. How is that kid GM from the Niners organization doing now? ;) Since 2009 this franchise has snubbed the hometown hero and they deserved all the failure they have had. at the very least Tim Tebow would have won more games a lot more games than any Jaguars quarterback during those years and they would have sold who knows how many tens of millions dollars of jaguars merchandise. All they had to do was sign him and play him some but they couldn't even do that they just kept bringing in loser after loser after loser.

Dave Caldwell needs to be fired asap. They brought him in and he hired Gus Bradley, tore the team down and said they were going to rebuild it the right way through the draft.

2013
Luke Joekle - gone
Johnathan Cyprian - gone
Dwayne Gratz - gone
Ace Sanders - gone
Denard Robinson - gone
Josh Evans - gone
Jeremy Harris - gone
Demetrius McCray - one

2014
Blake Bortles - soon to be bust
Marquis Lee - injured more than he plays
Allen Robinson - good receiver (not great)
Brandon Lindor - injured more than he plays
Aaron Colvin - injured more than he plays
Telvin Smith - Good player
Chris Smith - gone
Luke Bawanko - just a guy
Storm Johnson - gone

2015
Dante Fowler - so far a bust
TJ Yeldon - 4th string back
AJ Cann - just a guy
James Sample - gone
Rashaad Green - soon to be cut
Michael Bennett - just a guy
Neal Sterling - never heard of him
Ben Koyack - never heard of him

2016
Jalen Ramsey - good player
Myles Jack - we'll see
Yannick Ngakoue - good player
Sheldon Day - just a guy
Tyrone Holmes - gone
Brandon Allen - 3rd string QB
Johnathan Woodard - never heard of him

2017
Leonard Fournette - should be good if healthy
Cam Robinson - starter by default. We'll see.
Dwayne Smoot - ?
Dede Westbrook - will take Rashad Greens 4th string WR spot
Blair Brown - ? Never heard of him
Jalen Myrick - ? Never heard of him
Marquez Williams - ? Never heard of him

So in 5 drafts he got about 5 good players that start. That's building through the draft. :rolleyes3:

that's absolutely shameful and disgraceful. Owner Kahn is a joke too.
They could never even sign Tebow just as a backup or a third-stringer and who knows what would have happened Tim could have played he could have failed but he would have made a difference in the culture of the franchise like he did with the Broncos when they were down. And now they have an old man Tom Coughlin once a good coach running the franchise in his old school ways in a new school nfl.. mr. Kahn should be embarrassed that he never had the balls to bring Tebow in even as a backup and see what happens. hey who knows come next year Tim Tebow may have baseball out of the system and maybe then mr. Khan will overrule his Geniuses and actually bring him in as a backup a role player and a leader. Even if Tim only played a year or two as a backup with the Jaguars you could then move him in the marketing or vice president of the team to promote it in the community it would be a no-brainer he would immediately increase the value of the franchise and the businessman should understand that.

And yet a kid (with the athletic ability to pick up a sport after 10 years and do well) who is a proven leader/grew up in that area, would sell a gazillion tickets and has actually been to the playoffs and WON runs around a minor league ball park still doing what he does............
and has no beer gut.

That ship has sailed. They did make a mistake by not bringing him in though years ago.

Kap's distraction far outweighs what he would bring to any team. I don't care how many veterans are fine with his protest. I thought it was disrespectful to not only the military but our country. Oh, and that Castro t shirt? The dude is garbage.

And yet Kaepernick is still unemployed.
Do the Jags pull him in?

Jags fans- what about him? Too much controversy outweighs the Jax suckage?
Too loose of a cannon. Can't trust him as an employee to do only what ownership wants him to do in the stadium on game day. Not good enough to be worth the baggage he's already saddled himself with.

he has a lot of negative does Colin Kaepernick he doesn't seem too smart doesn't have the reputation as a hard worker but worst of all is the Castro shirt that he loves a dictator who enslaved and killed his own people is a Monumental disgrace.

mr. Khan does not have the balls to override his alleged football people. The franchise is really a black eye on the NFL. Tim probably won't even think about it until the offseason if at all.
