I know this seems ludicrous, but if he was the coach, and they just forced a DC on him, he would be super successful there. He would never have to worry about recruiting. They would always be top-five in recruiting because of NIL Oil money.

As much of a douche canoe as Mullen is, this pretty accurate. The recruiting should take care of itself with the money they pull in, and as much as I hate the style of offensive he runs, he was successfull with Franks, Trask, and EJ moving the ball.

He tweeted from the location of a job that just came open.
That being said it could easily be fake.

He was talking about Miss State. You're talking about A&M.

Their first call should be to Mullin

With all due respect, it does not matter who calls Cousin Eddie or where you think he would be successful either ATM or Cowbell. I am here to tell you that Cousin Eddie has never and will never be Super Successful as a P5 D1 Head Football Coach anywhere. Cousin Eddie is a Moron. Spare me that he was successful at Cowbell. Sub .500 in the SEC. Spare me he was successful at UF b/c of 1 SECCG. It took an act of GAWD with an unfortunate injury to a lame Giraffe that Cousin Eddie could not see clearly needed to be put out of his misery prior to the injury. So there is clearly a reason that Cousin Eddie's name has not surfaced once in any serious way since he was canned at UF. The reason is he sux. Only Strichnine could not see it. And if you needed any proof, the only thing that Fooley ever did correct in his life was to hate Cousin Eddie from the day he arrived at UF, That is well known.

Fooley's hate for Meyer was due to tremendous success in such a short period b/c Fooley did not hire Meyer and was only Machen's errand boy to get the deal signed. And it chafed Fooley that Machen's hand picked coach came right after Fooley's first football head coaching hire in his tenure, which anyone with a pulse, knew was going to be a monumental failure.

Gotta wonder what this guy is feeling? If he was the coach at UF he would have already received an extension and a raise. These HBCU's do not mess around.

Okay, here’s what I’m hearing from my inside sources, already proven years ago to be accurate when I broke the story about Gruden & Foley meeting at Brad Culpepper’s house but unable to strike a deal because cheapskate Foley wouldn’t pony up the cash Chuckie needed for his assistant staff pool, nor for facilities upgrades.

Here goes…

TAM is locked in on Gruden and he’s ready to take the job. Apparently the big time TAM boosters feel he got a raw deal from the NFL, he’s done his penance (more than he should they feel), and any blowback will be short lived. Expect an announcement in the next 7-10 days.

Missy State is hiring Mario Cristobal. Miami brass aren’t happy with the Georgia Tech fiasco and Cristobal wants to make a voluntary move before they move on him. He doesn’t feel he’ll survive next season so he is ready to jump. Getting a big raise, the chance to coach in the SEC and the prospect of having better facilities at Missy State compared to the shyyt hole facilities at Miami are all huge selling points. Furthermore, it’s become nearly impossible to get a good Cuban sandwich in Miami these days…all the hedge fund & fintech guys moving in from NY have really changed the dining scene in S. Florida and Starkville has some kick azz Cuban restaurants.

Urban Meyer is taking over at Miami. They’re throwing a boatload of money at him, rumored to be $18m per year for 10 years. He likes the warm climate and all the good looking tail in S. Florida. Apparently a couple of big money boosters are funding this. Billionaire John Ruiz and some short dude, last name is Shapiro I believe, are putting up the cash.

Anyway, you heard it here first.

I admit at times when I would channel surf on the weekends and see this "artist" on PBS I would stop and watch this guy. The image you posted seems like it was right after a fresh haircut. I never saw his 'fro that neat or short:lol2:
I don’t think Durty’s fro is as neat. More like Rastafarian.

Mullen would have remained "okay" at UF if he had tried. We know he had a decent start, then faded. He quit.
Why would Miss State not reach out to Mullen? They didn’t fire him, he would win 7-9 games every year and they never fired him. His AD knows how to schedule four guaranteed wins a year outside of the SEC schedule which means if he goes .500 in conference play he win 8 games a year. He was lazy at recruiting but always seemed above average at the portal. If he goes and gets a new group of assistants and stays away from the clowns Hevesy and Grantham, he could have more success at Cowbell than he did on the first tour. Our trash could be Miss State treasure.

You forgot to mention Joe Brady to UF as Napier's new OC.
