The NFL salaries used to be head and shoulders above called salaries. Not anymore.

If Kelly just liked college ball more than the nfl, we would not have to pay him $7M. I think somewhere like a base of $5M with performance incentives would do the trick. That is our only hope. The more beat downs he takes between now and Christmas the better
