For sure.
One thing about the route of UM, is that they can save their bullpen to some extent knowing that they're blown out of this game early. They knew they were going to need their best relievers to get out of the losers bracket. We could likely see the again. Then again, Arky could send them home to South Beach 0-2.

Notice the run production and # of HRs. But damn Omaha positions their stadium with wind blowing in,
thus making potential HRs deep fly outs -- that's lousy thinking and favors small-balling.
Besides, we play SEC & VA plays ACC … compare total # of regional super-qualifiers = SEC is much better than ACC.

Virginia's closer pitched 3 innings last night and threw 40 pitches. This sets up well for us. I have to believe he'll still be tired when we play them Monday.

Wow. I'm not a baseball fan, but I flipped through our game with Miami. Over half an hour later I'm wondering how we're still in the 4th inning, but as the runs keep adding up I have no issue staying in that inning indefinitely. Great game. Looking forward to Monday against UVA. Wife is already torn - UF undergrad, UVA grad. I think the kids and I can set her straight, but my son is contrarian just to be so. He may have an early bedtime.
