Copeland or Toney, if he's ready

I think Copeland is only limited by the offense and could take over games.
Toney is just to sideways for me but, I'm sure he has plenty of supporters.

With our stable of WRs and the emergence of Pitts as our leading receiver from a previously unused TE position, Toney has been almost forgotten.

They dont play the same position. Copeland will be an outside receiver (X or Z) and Toney is a slot.

Before you say, hey Ive seen him at slot, we do SOMETIMES line up the Y, H, or F outside to get a favorable matchup of our X or Z on a safety or OLB, but Cope will be one of our featured outside guys next year, probably with Wells I guess.

I'll take as many weapons as we can get.
And some offensive linemen...definitely some offensive linemen

Copeland will be outside next year for sure. I mean going forward if Toney is ready this year.

Didn't catch who Mullen was talking about or if he was just talking about everybody but he said he was optimistic that "they'd" be ready for UGAy.

looked to me like he got a knee to the helmet on the onside recovery. Concussion possibility?

I know the kick return position has become "extinct" in football but, in the small chance we ever decide to return a kickoff, I want Toney there. Swain and Cleveland are awful kick returners. However unlike some, I really like Swain as the main punt returner. Up until this point Swain has been reasonably sure handed in fielding the punts. Most teams use a rugby style punt that rolls anyway, but for those that need to be fair caught, Swain has been good. Toney has sucked big time in the past as a punt returner.

Cleveland and Grimes are the Ys right now. Toney will split, or take, time from them.

Copeland comes in and plays Jefdersons position, but probably he can play the other outside position too.

By the way, did you guys know Hammond is back next year? for some reason I thought he was a redshirt senior, perhaps because he looks 45. Ourlads says redshirt junior. Roster says senior. I wonder which is correct?

Disregard: our lads is smoking dope. He is a senior.

I'm no Toney hater or anything, but imo Copeland already looks better. He's more physical and fights for the ball. I know he's had some bad drops, but he's also made some outstanding plays. I'm glad he's getting game reps finally.

I don't think they are in competition with each other, they both should be on the field next year.

We lose a lot of depth and experience in the receiving corp next year but I'm still pretty excited to have Copeland, Toney, Pitts, and possibly Grimes next year.
