USC defense is not good, they have a good relationship already, Champ IS a good defensive coordinator, and he probably would not mind the opportunity to coach against us.

Muschamp will either sit out a year or end up as DC for SOS or Sumlin and rebuild his reputation.

He sucks as a HC but there will be about 100 schools trying to hire him for DC. He might go back to the dogs.

Wouldn't be surprised. He'll get a job somewhere and probably pretty quickly.

Spurrier is not coming back here. Please stop.
I heard he was and was going to recruit all white qbs, running backs, wide receivers, linebackers, and dbs

I wish him no ill will, but I could care less where he ends up coaching as long as it's not in Gainesville, FL.

All this talk about WM's defense, and I get he was great at Auburn and Texas, but our defense had regressed year over year while he was the HC.

Since 2012, when we lost our NFL roster and Quinn, our defense has been only been great when it didn't matter.

I get those stats but I believe they are skewed. The past 2 years we've been so horrible on offense, everyone know once they had the lead there was no need to press the offensive gas anymore.
Yep. Why risk throwing the ball against us when you had an 8 point lead? It was insurmountable.

It's almost a certainly that WM will be on an opposing sideline within the next 2 seasons. My money says he'll be on the USC one next year. You know SOS is shopping for a DC and his comments this week feel as much like a sell to WM as anything. Not saying he's not sincere in what he's saying. What I mean is that he's empathizing with WM. I'm glad to see WM gone, but I'm not excited about facing SOS and him on the same sideline. It's probably the missing ingredient to get the HBC an SEC title on his way out (or at least the only way he'll get close).

USCe will likely win the East next year if Muschamp is the DC.
