Driskel is only 200 yards away from his 2012 season

The talent was there. Imagine what Meyer or Mac could have gotten out of him. I still remember watching the Under Armour All-American game with Driskel and RoPo running wild all over the top talent in the nation. Mustychump was just all-around terrible at developing talent.

Well, Mac looked at his game tape and encouraged him to transfer to 1-AA.

It worked out well for everyone.

Chump owes JD a huge apology.

WM owes a lot of people a lot of apologies.

Fully agree with the others though in saying I wish JD the best. He endured an absolute hell for 4 years. Not sure he was ever going to be great here, but he deserved better than what he got.

I think it's more important to note that Grier has 996 yards, 10 TD, and 3 picks. He's doing better than a Muschamp led Driskel and he has a worse o-line.

Very happy that he's having a good year so far. Hopefully it continues.

In limited playing time, behind a very weak OL, and after being shutdown in the second half vs. Ole Siss.

I am happy for JD but it's against second teir competition. Jeff looked fairly good when we played complete chumps. I just never got the sense he had a real field presence nor could he see where things would develop. He would lock in on one guy and hold the ball too long and get clobbered. Will Grier could throw 3 passes by the time driskel released one. Driskel may have been serviceable in a Meyer spread option scheme.

Will Muschamp should be beat to a pulp and never allowed to enter a recruits home ever again. He owes JD and Brantley too, for that matter, a huge apology. No telling how many kids were effected by this asshat's antics. The only thing WM develops is a rash. A rash of pissed off fans for whomever he coaches for. Perhaps I still prefer him to recruit for the Barn and UGAly if they're stupid enough to hire him when Malzahn and staff are fired.

Good for JD. He will be bowling this year, Duncechump will not.

I'd laugh my ass off if the Barn ended up playing JD in a bowl game and Muschamp's defense got lit up by Drizzy...

I have nothing against JD but he will always be connected to WM in my mind. I just want to move on.

I wonder if former Muschimp Offensive players can sue him. He did kill their career. Hey Law what do you think?

I recall hearing something about Dean's dad wanting to sue SOS. Did anything ever become of that?

Its also nice to know that some of us that believed Driskel had the talent weren't entirely stupid...

I watched him in highschool, had no clue how he went from that to a complete non factor other than coaches

For what? Breach of a contractual duty to play his son? Negligent evaluation of QB skills? Tortious interference with starting status? :rotfl:

I never heard about this. It would be interesting to know if he actually found an attorney to sign a complaint like that.

This would be great. I pray that it happens.
