***Florida vs Purdue BBall Game Thread 11-22-15***

Terrible finish. Sloppy play and not thinking. DFS is carrying us and turning it over to hurt us as well. We need someone else to make jumpshots. Not sure why we haven't pressed to create turnovers. It's been just a relaxed 3/4 man to man.

Purdue making 7-12 3pters is why we are losing

Florida down 43-38.

Need to get Egbunu the ball more he has looked good tonight.

Yeah we have to play better. Refs are horrible thus far. Hopefully we can make some 3 pointers and Purdue misses a bunch cause they are hitting alot so far. Credit our guys for going on a run and getting back in the game when we got down by 10 points. Go Gators!!

Talented kids. Really athletic. I'm actually a bit surprised. This is the first game that I've watched in its entirety all season. However, we suck at closing out on the three-point line defensively.

Down 10 under 12 timeout. I mean 5 seconds to set up and shoot and bricks left and right. Gonna be hard to win since we have refused to press at all tonight. It's been a half court game on offense and defense, both are out weakness. Gotta create turnovers somehow down the stretch

A quick run cuts it to 3. Picking up the intensity has helped. We have so much promise going forward this season. It's clear we can make some noise all year long. Just have to be a lot more consistent in all phases

These guys are actually pretty good shooters and they're getting pretty good open shots. Playing very good basketball IMO. Just can't hit shots.

Sometimes there's nothing you can do when a team is unconscious from 3. Kinda pisses me off though.

Apparently that's the game plan, staying inside and making them make 3s...bad plays now down 15 now...we have taken 14 3s...they have made almost that many lol

It has been clear that some lineup changes need to be made

The kids are playing energized and are being very aggressive. But nothing is falling for them offensively. They're slashing right to the basket and or laying it on top of the rim and it's just bouncing out.

That sometimes happens in basketball. This is really when you need a superstar on your team. Someone who can take up the slack. I don't think we have that.

Yeah we are down by 20 now. Like I said before, Purdue has been beating people by 30 points a game and that's what is happening to us too...

It's just annoying when the first 3 games we were pressing, trapping, going 100000 miles and hour and tonight has been playing wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy slower intentionally and it was clear from the beginning that was not a good strategy. Was it to limit the fouling?
