Subwoofers can create air movement, so I'm not sure if it was actually the frequency that put out the flame, or just the movement of air the woofer creates based on the frequency it's being given.

Have you ever been in a car where guys have the subs in the trunk? Ok, ok I admit it. I had some as a young hooligan. I had 2 15" MDXs in a box that filled my trunk. You could hear the thump blocks away. I could barely turn the volume up for the fact it would take your breath away. You just couldn't breath.
