I don't hate the State of Georgia but I hate the University of Georgia Football Program.
In my worst nightmares I still hear, "Run Lindsey, Run"!!!!!!

1985 game really sealed the deal for me.
It was not a pretty sight watching several Gator fans getting their @sses kicked by the Dawg fans when both sides stormed the field that year. Oh, and getting our @sses kicked 24-3.

Advice needed: we are hiring at my work and I am on the hiring committee. One applicant, who is very strong, is a former dawg. What would you do?

I found the story: And this is just PART of the reason why we despise them:

There plenty of other reasons but WW2 was bad enough without uga using it to their advantage.
do you have a link to the original story?

75-0 (1942) – I’m checking the internet to find out how many players were actually missing from that game and would it have made a difference. Nothing I can say will state anything more than ‘several’ players missing to start the season, and many more sent to war during the season, but no numbers on how many we lost or how many UGA didn’t send.

Kudos to UGA on that NC (11-1), this game isn’t special beyond the size of the score. We only won 3 games that year, all early (one against Randolph Macon!), so it is what it is. However, in checking stats, I see that the SEC had 6 of 12 teams ranked in the top 16. Some things don’t change, eh?
