Wow. I'm really impressed you got all of that to line up as well as you did on the site. Shows you have much better this place is.

Now try to imagine what our stats would look like if we had played the rain out game against Idaho. This is why stats can be very misleading, 1 more game against a patsy to pad the stats would have us ranked that much higher.

Still, that would have been a good warmup for us because Idaho plays 5 wideouts. Our young D needed the live reps.

It all comes down to our front 7 on D. If they can take controll of the game, we should win. I think our O-line can run block with the best of them and we can control the game. If we can use our short passing game and to thin out their fron 7, we have a great chance.

If VHII is on Cooper and our run Defenese and O-line plays well, I beleive that this will be a long afternoon for Bamma fans. I have faith that our young secondary learned a lot from last week, and they have not played anyone as balanced as us. Plus if the F$pue flunky can pass for over 300 yards on that D, I think we can do at least 250 and that is all we should need.

Your absolutely right. I was just commenting on the stats above. Personally with a young team and a new system I think we needed as much game time as possible.

I took the trouble to compile these from the NCAA site because I was struck by the following:
We are not as bad as I thought we were. Even without Idaho, our stats are quite good. We both played one non-cupcake team but ours was against an improved SEC foe. (Not arguing about the importance of the missed scrimmage with Idaho).
This contest will come down to a battle between the RBs. And we both supposedly have mobile QBs. I doubt we'll see too much in the passing game from either side.
Bama's only definitive advantages may be home field and coaching. The coaching differential will show up in the composure and poise of the players.

I would say that Bama probably also has an advantage on the offensive line.

Well. 50% of the board is more interested in GPA and community service stats. Another 50% just want to know what happened to their favorite poster at GSMB. And the other 50% is making up stats to support their argument.

Me, I just want to see pie charts.

But good job.

I do believe it will come down to the RB's and the ability of our Defense to stop the run and our young corners to keep things in check. I still think that the Kiffen will be the undoing in Tuscaloosa.

If Lane succeeds at bama it will be irrefutable evidence that Saban sold his soul to the devil.

Small sample size stats are shady. Use eyes. Look at product on field. What does ur gut tell you

I think it comes down to dropped balls. 2 or more and we lose.
