No one cares. You keep taliing about hiw bad it was when Florida had kess population and talent than Missippi. Obviously we werent good then.

Now most top programs on the east coast basically recruit two states, their own, and Florida.

You have to work hard at making gawdawful hires or decisions to lose at UF. Our decisions to not pay the going rate is part of the revolving door we have had on the coaching staff even when Creyer was still here. To say nothing of trying to compete with all the other teams that adopted Bamas model of having 30 quality assistant coaches while we tried to rely on two GAs.

Honestly, if Bama, Texas, or Meatchicken needed to hire tomorrow, does anyone think the head coach at Louisiana Lafayette would be #2 on their list? Would they limit themselves to lower division coaches, fired or current coordinators?

No one gives a rats ass about competing with Stanford and Harvard in cup stacking to win all sports trophy.

Fooley earned the disdain Gators have for him. Dont kid yourself into thinking he has much support. His telling Gator Nation to screw ourselves bc he is keeoing his boy toy Chump destroyed what little support he had left.

They would never frre Foley. But he could be asked to retire as you said.
