This is logical and I thought that too at one time. Alas the NCAA does in fact require a graduate transfer player to be granted a release from the athletic department of the school he graduated from to be eligible to play immediately at his new school.
Mullen must have a TON of faith in his QBs to not go after Burrow--and publicly state it.
This is what worries me the most.
Getting Burrow and landing Sanders would have been HUGE to building the class we so desperately need--muxh like landing Tebow and Percy in '06.
No relation.Jones is going to make a lot of people forget that Donkeyback ever existed.
Damn...u expecting him to get canned that quick? You probably right about the local media though. I've noticed over the last several years that they know about alot of issues inside the program yet they don't say $hit until coach gets fired. It's nothing more than the local media protecting the coach. When mullen gets fired in 2 and half years they'll be singing a different tune about this.
Kid is a graduate. Meyer has no control whatsoever.
Oozing with ambivalence in May 8 interview with SEC Country.Did Mullen really say "I don't want this guy?"
Yes I think he gets fired that quick. He's already one of the most hated assistant coaches we've had. And I've never seen a fanbase more pissed over a hire except Tennessee with shciano. He's already behind the eightball and he just passed on a huge break. He's turning out to be exactly who we thought he was. I think Stricklin gets the axe next yearf fwiw.Damn...u expecting him to get canned that quick? You probably right about the local media though. There was rumors going around that stricklin hired mullen against the wishes of plenty of higher ups. There's going to be alot of heat when we miss a bowl this yearYou may be right on mullinz but Stricklin isn’t going anywhere.

I'm curious who the higher ups preferred. I think you're gonna say Taggart because that's what I was hearing. There was rumors going around that stricklin hired mullen against the wishes of plenty of higher ups. There's going to be alot of heat when we miss a bowl this year
Pretty sure it was marrianna that said they were fighting Stricklin over mullen. Anyhow, you had former players speaking out against the mullen hire. The local radio was on fire with callers who were pissed about it. I definitely don't think we'd fire a coach in 2 years but i do think we'd fire an AD in 3.I'm curious who the higher ups preferred. I'm already convinced Stricklin is in over his head. But I don't necessarily disagree over hiring Mullen.Pretty sure it was marrianna that said they were fighting Stricklin over mullen. Correct me if I'm wrong but dont he have a 12 million dollar buyout? If that the case he will get all 6 years to win 9 games a year and the fanbase will roast Strickland for giving such a buyout on top of paying an average coach 6 million a year.Yes I think he gets fired that quick.
