:facepalm:An official scholarship offer letter is a special document for a high school football player to receive. We’ve seen a number of different looking letters today, which opens the period in which schools can officially offer recruits, but Florida has the first gaffe that we’ve noticed. Five-star wide receiver Nate Craig-Myers, an uncommitted player out of Tampa, has received a number of letters today, including one from the Gators which promotes UF receiver greats Percy Harvin and “Cris Collingsworth.” That is, of course, a misspelling for former Florida wide receiver and current NFL broadcaster Cris Collinsworth. GameDayr picked up on the error. It’s a minor error, but one would hope that a big program like Florida would get a few pairs of eyes on something as important as a scholarship offer letter to make sure everything is perfect.

Epic? I would say that the epic fail in this case is your thread title.
Why is this "Epic" you ask? It's "Epic" because in recruiting stuff like this matters and for some reason we continue to embarrass ourselves with stupid sh*t like this. We did something similar to this Last year and social media lit up just like it's doing now.

I have seen stuff like this this with a lot of things the past few years. You would think they would review it better but its definitely not just a UF problem.

This right here. The concept of proofreading and editing are, unfortunately, a thing of the past. The millenial generation just doesn't care about that because they speak in acronyms and abbreviations.

It may happen elsewhere but this is the 2nd year in a row that it happened at UF.

Epic fail was losing to Georgia Southern.
Epic was not firing the guy who lost to Georgia Southern... or Vandy... or MIzzu.... or three straight to ugly, because he was your bromance.

Epic was giving him two pay raises because he went 6-6.

Epic was paying a guy 6 million to stand on the sideline and occasionally rub his nose while Daztard ran the team and pounded the middle with Demps and the edges with Brantley (He's averaging 6 yards a carry!!!!).

Epic is adopting rules that force us to play 10-20 scholarship players under the limit.

Epic is allowing our facilities to become the consensus second worst in the league because you aren't getting in an arms race.

Epic is paying amongst the lowest for assistants and refusing to hire sufficient "quality control assistants" because you aren't getting in an arms race.

Epic was hiring a failed defensive coordinator when SOS left, because the failed coordinator was your old bromance.

Collingsworth? Pfffffffft.

The jury is in Mary-Anna. A typo in a recruiting letter is not epic. Relax, wait for football season. Hope a little. Try to enjoy life a little more.

...or not.
