Okay, I'll give you that, as I do remember that song. But TIYS was nothing compared to WILAY, IMO.Phineus Maximus;n233644 said:Two-hit wonder:

Most of that is from memory, though I have about 2TB of music on my home PC which I've managed to stream to my phone. But having such access, I can find a lot more "One Hit Wonders" than just memory could provide. If pushed to name my top few from that list:
Robbie Robertson - Broken Arrow
Uberzone - Moondusted
Modern English - I Melt With You
Golden Earing - Radar Love
Eric B & Rakim - Paid In Full
I can listen to almost any kind of music - except bluegrass.
To many to name, but the first Candlebox album is still one of my favorites first track to last. There were a lot of great bands in that 93-97 range that had one great hit and dissapeared. Another one that isn’t as well known but Far Too Jones had a great first album.
Jump Little Children just falls into the category of lots of great music that not many people have heard.
Candlebox - Far Behind
That's awesome. I remember in middle school when that first one came out I really thought they were going to be big. They had some great songs. My wife and I's first concert together was Candlebox in 2008 at Janis... great show...

FAIL!!!! You forgot "Come Back" by J Geils Band! ;)wow - great list @TLB
The only band that might have had more than one hit would be J Geils-
“I Must Have Got Lost” #12, “Love Stinks” #38, “Freeze Frame” #4, and one of my favorites “Looking For a Love” #39 ...were also hits, although not on the scale of “Centerfold” #1.
Chorus always makes me think of Wuerffel, song came out right after all the hits to the 'echo of the whistle' against FSU.He drinks some whiskey drink
He drinks some lager drink
He drinks some vodka drink
He drinks some cider drink
He sings the songs that remind him of the good times
He sings the songs that remind him of the bad times
FAIL!!!! You forgot "Come Back" by J Geils Band! ;)
