Recruiting Mac already meeting recruits (Part 3)

Law, my buddy seems to have been correct on the possible transfers. Willis was one of the individuals he named. I really hate to see him go, because he is going to be a beast. Holley was one of the other names. I sure hope the new coaching staff have turned that around.

I believe, based on what I hear from friends who I know have access to what's going on, that we will sign a good class - considering the circumstances. The next week should provide a little clearer picture of where we stand with some key recruits.

Anybody know who this "Ryan" guy is people are talking about? Supposedly he's some sort of insider for UF recruiting, and he's saying we land all the big four of Cowart, Cece, Ivey, and Holland. But multiple people on twitter are saying he's a total fraud, and just "reporting" what Gator fans want to hear. So, any idea who he is, and if he actually might know something?

he's one I was initially worried about too, being that he's from so far away. Hopefully he likes it here. Plus he's probably going to be in the rotation next year

Well, I realize it's tough because he's far from home. If he leaves he has to sit out another year. He's shirting this year (I think- don't remember him on the field) so he just burns a year of eligibility when he does. And if he hopes to leave after three for the NFL then he has to get REAL good in one season. The truth is that isn't likely. In reality, transferring puts his ultimate career aspirations on hold for at least one more year.

I think he's going to be a beast and no university over the period of a couple of decades and through various coaching staffs, even poor ones, has been more consistent at putting D linemen in the NFL. I hope he thinks this through.

Can't say I've ever heard of this kid. I will say this, I saw he had an offer from Navy which speaks to his character and academic standing. He looks to be picking up some attention late from some of the bigs, as he has recent offers from UF and Notre Dame. Good for him.
