Likewise, I've always liked the name (and subsequent mascot use of Eddie) for

Seemed like both apt for the heavy metal, but able to pivot for various use (ie "Maiden Japan")

Dang Goon, most of those bands operated and performed in and around Tallahassee. Southern Satisfaction, I believe, was the house band at Rocky’s. Heard them many a night. Dickie Hosford, “Hoss” of Hutch.and Hoss, was a PE teacher at Raa Middle School and also coached swimming at Lincoln HS. Saw Tom and the Cats and Crooked Shooz playing dances over in Gadsden county a few times.

Good stroll down memory lane!

That just resurrected a few brain cells. Totally forgot about them
Just checking and I’m assuming you’ve been to Bullwinkles, but wondering if you ever ran into @CDGator ? Rumor has it that she was usually in the vicinity of Superman’s Door

J/K of course!

I wasn’t. Went back once to Bullwinkles after my time UF. Was Poor Paul’s on TN street too? I know the name.

Next time I have dinner with Bruce Dickenson, I'll tell him you said hi.
