Lakatriona “Bernice” Brunson, a former player in the Independent Women’s Football League, and a star of the reality show South Beach Tow, is set to take over as the school’s head coach, and will be the first female head coach in Florida high school football history. Luther Campbell, best known as “Uncle Luke” from 2 Live Crew, will serve as an assistant on her staff.
