Unless they get a stud of a coach, Miami is done as a legit program. Their stadium is a dump. The fans won't show up. They don't have the money to compete. It is over.

Following that, it means Coach Mac has a genuine opportunity on his hands. If he can take over south Florida, which seems to be his goal, UF will be a national contender for years to come.

Those idiot Miami fans all think next year Butch Davis will be coaching them back to glory. Al Golden earned $2.25 million last year and is under contract until 2020. He's not going anywhere, Butch isn't coming, and as a Gator fan I'm very happy. Sileo and Zagacki can chew on that.

I know a guy and his family that are OBNOXIOUS miami fans (dont ask me why) but after golden was hired he said he hoped golden would stick around from now on.....I havent talked to him for a while. Wonder how the love affair is going?

UM is a small private school with a pretty good academic reputation. The majority of their fanbase has no loyalty to the school. And the alumni are likely to go back to their state OR country of origin. The Administration was a Howard Schnelenberger hire away from dropping the program and I bet there are some who argue to do that now. I doubt the program operates in the black. I wouldn't be surprised if they just fade away in to obscurity.

Imagine flying over 1000 miles and dressing like this only to watch your team fall to a middle of the pack AAC team. Their humiliation is comforting to the soul.

That program is an absolute insignificant embarrassment, and yet they still stomped Chump's team. How sad is that?
